Well, another year is nearing its end and at the practice here
we had a busy time with lots of changes taking place. We have
had new staff, new babies, new treatments and a new extension.
But don’t worry, the oldies are still here!!
NEW STAFF
Due to changes in staffing and
maternity leave a few new members
have joined the team
Chloe Nesbit has joined us as a trainee
Dental Nurse. She is working with Paul,
and has settled into the practice very
quickly.
Alyson Watson, qualified Dental Nurse,
has joined us on a part-time basis
working in both surgery and reception
Many of you will know Heather Fleming
as she worked in the practice in the
past. She has joined us again and is
working part-time as part of the
reception team
David Buchanan is our new Dentist and
he is working Monday, Wednesday and
alternative Friday’s
Carole Wallace is now working parttime so that she can spend more time
with her granddaughter
Louise Anderson is the newest member
of the team. She will be replacing our
Hygienist Zara who we will all miss

Baby Boom
Baby Charlotte with mum
The practice has had a bit of a
baby boom recently.
Congratulations are in order for
two of our Dental Nurses.
Heather Hagan had a little girl
‘Charlotte’ in June of this year,
and Elaine Jones had a little girl
‘Lily’ in October . Mother and
baby are all doing fine and both
of the girls will be returning to
work next year.

BUDGETING FOR YOUR DENTAL TREATMENT
We are all tightening our purse strings at present especially with xmas on its way. Many
of us feel inclined to put off that trip to the hairdresser, or even delay a visit to the dentist .
Regular visits to the dentist are a crucial element of preventive care, alongside a good
oral hygiene routine and a healthy diet. We believe in providing our patients with as much
choice when it comes to paying for their dental treatment. With increasing pressure on
household expenditure ‘paying as you go’ may no longer suit. Budgeting for your oral
healthcare is simple with payment plans such as Denplan Care, helping you to spread
the cost of dental visits and treatment through a set monthly fee. Fees are based on your
individual oral healthcare needs, and not grouped together in one price band like
insurance. Where one patient enjoys good oral healthcare their monthly fee will be lower
than a patient who requires more attention and treatments, and their fee will reflect this.
