FAQs about ROP Auto Body
Can I work on my car? Yes! Once
you’ve completed the Basic Project you
can bring in your own projects to
school.
Who pays for the materials? All
materials needed for the Basic Project
are provided by CRY-ROP. Materials
for additional projects are purchased by
the student.
Can you match paint? Yes! ROP
Auto Body has a complete SherwinAutomotive paint mixing system. Any
factory color can be reproduced.
The Stages of the Basic Project:
Auto Collision Repair and
Refinishing is an “In Demand” skill.
According to the Occupational
Information Network, “A
combination of increasing driving
population, increasing vehicle
complexity and aging worker
retirement indicates a continuing
need for trained technicians.”
The average salaries for Body
Repair Technicians range from
$30,000 to $100,000+ per year.
Relocation opportunities are also
excellent, as automotive
technicians are needed nationwide.
My car is wrecked – can I ‘pull it?’
Yes! Your CRY-ROP instructor is
factory trained on E-Z Liner frame
straighteners, and I-CAR certified. We
will return your car to pre-accident
condition.
The objective of Auto Collision
Repair and Refinishing is to prepare
students for employment in:
Collision Repair Shops, Auto
Restoration Shops, and Paint

the panel is primed and
prepared for painting.
