Business Center
Open 24 hours a day, the Business Center located adjacent to the lobby has 2 computers, a color
laser printer, fax machine and copier for all your business needs, no matter what time of day or
night.
Check-In and Check-Out Time
Check-in time is 3:00 p.m daily. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Upon check-out, please turn off
your lights, heating or air conditioning. If you would like to extend your stay please contact the
Front Desk by noon on the day of your original departure. Quick check-out is also available.
Coin-Operated Laundry
A coin-operated washer and dryer are available in the guest laundry facility located on the second
floor.
Complimentary Full Hot Breakfast
Please join us in the lobby for a complimentary full hot breakfast everday from 6:00 am to
10:00am. We offer eggs, omelets, sausage, pancakes, biscuits with gravy, pastries, bagels,
cereals, and more!

Dry Cleaning and Laundry Valet
For your convenience, a laundry bag and dry cleaning list are provided in each room. Same day
service is available Monday through Friday. If articles are received at the Front Desk by 7:00am,
they will be returned by 6:00pm. No dry cleaning or laundry valet services available on Saturday,
Sunday or Holidays.

Safety and Security Precautions
Safe deposit boxes are available at the Front Desk. Under state law, the hotel is not responsible
for loss of articles unless they have been properly secured in these boxes. There is a safe deposit
box in your room as well. Verify your State Laws PleaseBe sure to always secure your dead bolt and door guard.
Use the peephole and fully identify all visitors. If you doubt anyone’s identity, please contact the
front desk immediately and ask if someone from the staff is supposed to have access to your
room and for what purpose.
Do not needlessly display guest room key cards in public or leave them on restaurant tables or
other places where they can be easily stolen. Should you lose your key card please notify the
Front Desk immediately so that your lock may be recoded.
Ensure that all windows and connecting doors are locked.
Ensure that you have removed all valuables from your vehicle and locked your car.
Note the location of emergency fire exits displayed on the inside of your guest room door. Dial “0”
to report fire or smoke. Use the stairs instead of the elevator during a fire emergency.
Always pay attention to your surroundings in the parking lot.
If you see any suspicious activity, please report your observation to the Front Desk.

Blind Willie McTell Trail
The McTell Trail is a quaint, one-mile pathway connecting downtown Statesboro to the campus of
Georgia Southern University. The trail begins at Fair Road’s Memorial Park and ends at Triangle
Park in the heart of beautiful Downtown Statesboro. The trail consists of 7,415 square yards of
architecturally designed asphalt, six varieties of trees, custom-designed benches by the
university’s art students, cobra lighting throughout and more. Bike racks, picnic tables, trash
receptacles, landscaped islands, raised pedestrian crosswalks and much more! The McTell Trail
allows visitors and locals alike to walk and picnic during their lunch hour or perhaps to cycle

Georgia Southern Botanical Garden
Centered on an early 20th century farmstead, the Georgia Southern Botanical Garden offers
visitors a unique view of the cultural and natural heritage of the southeastern coastal plain, an
area rich in unique and endangered plants.
The Garden is located at 1505 Bland Avenue off of Fair Road (Hwy. 67). Hours of operation:
Magnolia Gates are open daily 9 a.m. to dusk, Bland Cottage is open Tues.-Sat. 10 a.m.-4 p.m.,

Georgia Southern University Museum
Meet the Mosasaur and the famous Vogtle Whale in the Hall of Natural History, and Be a

selection of national traveling exhibits, including this year's Spacing Out! are showcased each
year at the Museum.
The Georgia Southern Museum is located in the heart of campus on Sweetheart Circle (off of

Georgia Southern University Wildlife Education Center and the Lamar Q
Ball, Jr. Raptor Center
Watch the eagles take flight, touch our lime-green friend, Monty the Python, or explore the
different habitats of raptors, reptiles and mammals at the Center for Wildlife Education and the
Lamar Q Ball Jr. Raptor Center. With more than five acres featuring diverse habitats and species,
an amphitheater and an indoor classroom, get ready to take a walk on the wild side!
The Wildlife Center is conveniently located on Georgia Southern University’s campus and directly
off Hwy. 301. Hours of operation: Mon.-Fri. 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Sat. 1-5 p.m. Reptile shows are at 2
p.m. and flighted raptor shows are at 3 p.m. on Saturdays. The Center is closed on Sundays.

Meinhardt Vineyards and Winery
Just outside of the city limits of Statesboro, there’s a hidden treasure, Meinhardt Vineyards and
Winery. The first of its kind in Southeast Georgia, it boasts scenic views, sunsets, and awardwinning wines. Meinhardt hosts the annual Grape Stomp and Muscadine Festival, where festival
attendees can crush grapes themselves and see how muscadine wine is made. Relax and enjoy
some of their delicious wine and cheese and experience life at a slow Southern pace.
Meinhardt Vineyards and Winery is located at 305 Kennedy Pond Rd. off of Hwy. 46. Hours of

Mill Creek Regional Park
Mill Creek Regional Park is a state-of-the-art park that not only includes a water park but premier
baseball, softball, soccer and family recreation facilities that are unmatched in the Southeast.
Overall, the Park is complemented by the picturesque lake surrounded by a well-lit and paved
walking path. The park and its trails are beautifully landscaped with over 300 hardwood trees.
The park is located just off of Hwy 24 and the 301 Bypass. Hours of operation: From sunrise to
sunset. The park is open to the public for outdoor recreation. Special events and sporting events

Splash in the Boro Family Waterpark
Jump into 768,000 gallons of fun, ride on one of the park’s three wild slides or relax and go with
the flow on the Lazy River at Splash in the Boro. Water park enthusiasts will enjoy full amenities
of a big city facility on an economical budget.
Splash in the Boro Waterpark is conveniently located behind Mill Creek Regional Park off of Hwy.
24 and the 301 Bypass. Summer operations begin in Mid-May and run through Labor Day.
