SUPPRESSOR WRAPS
EliteIron offers a unique cover for sound suppressors of nearly every size and shape.
This proprietary “wrap” not only allows the operator to comfortably handle a hot suppressor, our Wraps are fire retardant with Carbon X material inside specified to withstand 12000
and outer material treated to withstand 5 seconds of direct flame. Using EliteIron Suppressor
Wraps (Patent #628.260) will greatly minimize heat mirage for optics. The wrap also provides a platform to attach camouflage elements such as Gillie suit material, brush, branches,
etc. Wraps come in Tactical Black, Coyote Tan, OD, and Multi
Cam. Eyelets and lacing provide ample opportunity for attaching material from the environment to provide optimum concealment. Additional cord is free upon request with purchase.
Although there is a Wrap to fit all EliteIron suppressors, they
can fit most every sound suppressor available. Check the sizes,

EliteIron Wraps can only be sold to U.S. residents and

For all EliteIron testing, ten non-suppressed readings are taken first and then averaged
to provide a baseline figure. Then, ten sound-suppressed readings with three to five minute
cooling intervals between each shot are taken. This data is also averaged with the result
subtracted from the baseline figure. This figure represents the degree of sound suppression.
The ambient temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, elevation above sea level, and
date are recorded during the testing process. It’s important to note that there will always be
minor day-to-day variations in the data obtained as a consequence of changes in weather
conditions and other parameters.
