FIRST DESCENTS
First Descents is dedicated to curing young adults of the emotional
effects of cancer and empowering them to regain control of their lives by
experiencing outdoor adventure therapy through kayaking, rock climbing
and other adventure sports.
Dagger is proud to support First Descents, a non-profit organization
founded by Team Dagger kayaker Brad Ludden. Since the group began
in 2001 with one camp in Vail, CO, they have grown to 14 programs in 6
different states serving hundreds of young adults each summer.

TruTrak SKEG System
Get a lighter, stronger, and more bomb-proof whitewater boat with
this innovative and intuitive outfitting system. The PFS 2.0 system is
streamlined for reduced weight and comfort, allowing you to push the
edge of performance, not the pain. Multiple tool-less adjustments also
allow you to leave the wrenches and screwdrivers back at home.
The Comfort Fit System (CFS) combines the proven technical capabilities
of whitewater outfitting with the comfort of a soft foam touring design.
Now paddlers of all abilities can customize their kayak for a perfect fit
based on their needs.
Dagger kayaks are designed for a range of paddlers
and environments. On select crossover and touring
kayaks, our innovative TruTrak system features a builtin drop skeg that gives you the control to push the
boundaries of traditional category performance.
Whitewater PFS 2.0 outfitting comes in a variety of configurations
depending on which conditions and performance features a kayak is
geared towards, whether it’s hardcore creeking, freestyle playboating,
or a little bit of both on the same trip.

the TruTrak system for 2011. Durable construction
and hydrofoil shape offer more efficient water
mending for an overall improved paddling
performance when deployed. The system enclosure
has also been reengineered for long-term durability,
with the blade housing design now being easier to
perform any repairs needed over time.
CFS-R System
Our CFS-R system is based on the performance-driven design of
the famous CFS outfitting. It offers a height-adjustable backrest for
versatility, along with a cockpit thighpad that can be easily swapped out
for an add-on thighbrace.
