Introducing
the new furniture
series of
VASSA
Vassa, the latest VIVERE furniture series
with contemporary look, is developed
by Irvan A. Noe’man, one of Indonesian
prominent industrial designer.
Inspired by the nation artistic character
that commonly practice ‘carving’ or
‘crafting’, the main character of Vassa
lays in its intricate ‘slices’ or ‘bevel’ detail.

Vassa have become a new touch
state of art and design expression,
that creatively created by utilizing
the combination of art, design and
manufacturing technologies.
Vassa distinct lifestyle blends well with
contemporary interior with natural
style. The series is available for living

Vassa incorporate warm and natural
color in each of its collection. The
selection of walnut veneer and the
open pore finishing technique for
the wooden furniture, is combined
with natural and earth tone color
for the upholstery products,
creating warm, relaxing and calm

Designed and Developed by Irvan A. Noe’man
Layered with natural walnut veneer, Vassa comes with
a shade of warm walnut color, bringing rest and relax
atmosphere vibe into your space. To create smoothness
and bringing elegant look, the product is coated with
water based finished paint in the final coating process,
which is odorless and glue doesn’t contain any toxic
chemical. This is very safe for the air quality at indoor
environment. This practice is a green statement and real
attitude in promoting of living green.
He is a creative activist and intellectual, who founded the BD+A
Design that specialize in cross design expertise: Product Design
and Innovations, Industrial Design, Visual – Graphic Design,
Space and Retail Identity, and Brand & Corporate Identity. The
originator of Indonesia Design Power who introduces creative
economy in Indonesia, Advisory board of ADGI Association of
Indonesia Graphic Designer and the Chairman of FGD Forum
that organize FGDexpo.
Irvan graduated from Rhode Island School of Design RISD
USA’85, Master of Industrial Design and study Architect Interior
in Art and Design ITB . With his extensive years of experience
and solid educational background in the creative, design, and
art field, Irvan gives back to the nation by setting up Indonesia
Creative Center, which facilitates the design and creative
development around the nation, through various workshops
and other activities. His interest in design education, research
and development brings him as a “trend decoder”.
