Bill was involved with this organization for several years as a participant, a board member, and president (1994-95). Bill and his wife, Gen, shared their time and talent to make the games a success and an enjoyable experience for those who competed. A footnote: Bill was a World War II vet serving with General Patton’s First Army and was on the front line at the Battle of the Bulge. One of his last very memorable experiences was the Badger Honor Flight to Washington, D.C. on 11/12/2011. Acknowledgments We thank the many volunteers who have given their time and talents to make the Wisconsin Senior Games what they are today. We look forward to an exciting week filled with athletics, camaraderie, and memories once again. We would like to highlight the following individuals for their contributions: Pfreds’s Fotographic for the 2011 photos by Fred Krantz; Fernando Hernandez for his continuing suggestions and extensive publication effort; Travis Bashaw for his continued coordination and technical efforts; John Schultz for his extra responsibilities this past year, as well as Pat May, Louise Schadauer, and Pam Hennessey for their work behind the scenes. We also thank all Dane County Senior Centers for being such a valuable resource to the Wisconsin Senior Games. Thanks to Woodmans on Milwaukee Street and Copps in Monona for food donations. We would also like to thank RSVP and the following coalitions for their assistance in publicizing our events: East Madison/Monona, North/Eastside, South Madison, and West Madison coalitions.
