Uniform Crime Statistics Released by Lafayette Police
LAFAYETTE -- Crime statistics for the year of 2014 have
been released by the Lafayette Police Department. There was a
10% decrease in total reported crimes within the City of Lafayette.
Decrease in 2014 included the crimes of Homicide, Aggravated Rape,
Robbery, Assault, and Theft. Auto Theft was the only category that
showed an increase.
