The jury will assess the vehicles so that the car which comes closest to the state in which it was initially delivered will receive the first place. In case of an identical condition an authentic patina will be preferred over a new lacquer. A road legal car will also be preferred, since the jury is convinced that the year-round use of the car adds more to the preservation of the historical asset Trabant than the exclusive presentation of a car which is not road legal. The overall care will also be considered. Who took good care of his car will likewise be rewarded. Furthermore the engine number, the VIN and the transmission number will be compared. The rims may not be older than 6 months in relation to the YoC of the car and shall be coined uniformly. Thus the jury kindly asks to present only serious registrations during the assessment. The tuning categories will assess 2-stroke and 4-stroke cars separately. The workmanship of the modification will be assessed. Thus not only the records in the papers matter but also the technical work on the car itself.
