I have read and understand all ‘Sing Your Heart Out” rules and information and therefore submit the
singing competition registration on behalf of the candidate. In addition, I release the Williamson County
Fair Board of any liability regarding my child’s participation in the pageant. Further, I grants permission
to the WCFA, Inc. to use his/her name, likeness, voice and words in television, radio, films, newspapers,
magazines and other media, and in any form not heretofore described for the lawful purposes and
activities of the Williamson County Fair, including but not limited to advertising and appealing for funds
to support the fair. No compensation will be issued for the use of his/her name or likeness.

Rules and Regulations:
• Contest is open to State of Tennessee Residents and adjoining states.
• Contestants will sing one song, accompanied by a track, not totaling more than 3 minutes.
• Preliminary Competitions will be held: ELEMENTARY SCHOOL – Monday, August 3rd; MIDDLE
SCHOOL - Tuesday, August 4th; HIGH SCHOOL – Wednesday, August 5th, at Puckett’s
Grocery in Franklin. (Preliminaries will be limited to 40 contestants in each category.)
• Final Competition will be held Tuesday, August 11th, at 6:00 p.m. at the Williamson County
Fair, Ag Expo Park, Main Stage/Arena, 4215 Long Lane, Franklin, TN.
• Acceptance is non-transferable. Due to limited time, only those with prior acceptance at the
Preliminary Auditions will be allowed to perform at the final competition on Tuesday August 11th
during the Williamson County Fair. Up to 15 contestants in each category from the preliminary
competitions will move to the final competition.
• On August 11th, there will be 3 winners in each category: Elementary School (K-5), Middle
School (6-8), and High School (9-12). Each division winner will receive $500. One Grand
Prize Overall winner will be named from the three first place winners, and will win an additional
$500 for a total of $1,000.
• Entry fee is $25.00 in all divisions, and is due with application.
• Application is due in office by Friday, July 31, 2015.

• Sportsmanship and manners are required of all contestants.
• Time allowed for each act is 3 minutes or less.
• “Sing Your Heart Out!” is a family-friendly show.
• Accompaniment is track only.
• Judges will be Nashville Music Industry Professionals.
• Contestants will receive an e-mail confirmation of entry before Preliminaries.
