Please note that the listenership figures provided by
SAARF are topline findings and are not necessarily
indicative of a radio station’s performance in terms
of their core listenership. It is important to analyse
the listenership figures using the Telmar program in
order to ascertain where the increases/decreases
have occurred. In some instances, a station’s overall
listenership might be down on a previous period,
however, its core listenership may have increased. It
is, therefore, important to have a clear understanding
of each radio station’s core market. Such information
can be obtained from the respective radio stations.
