NON-TRADITIONAL CAREERS
Consider a
Non-Traditional
Career!
There are so many careers out there, why limit
yourself to those traditional for your gender?
Whether you are a man or woman considering
returning to school, forge your own unique
pathway to success.
•Choose what will make you happy – your job
satisfaction will be much higher if you are doing
something you enjoy, even if it is not “Men’s work”
or “Women’s work”.
•Improve your advancement opportunities – companies are always looking for fresh
viewpoints. As a non-traditional employee, you can bring that to the workplace.
• Increase your salary – those who pursue non-traditional careers can see a significant
increase in salary. In engineering, manufacturing and information technology,
women enjoy substantially
higher salaries, while medical
careers such as nursing, can
offer excellent salaries to
men as well as women.
At Lorain County JVS, you
will find support, guidance
and encouragement to help
you succeed in your new
field. Choose non-traditional
and choose success!
