The Beckson hand pumps will eliminate the
lifting and tilting of drums. They are designed
to transfer most cleaning products including
acids with relative ease. The body and shaft
are constructed of a special polyvinyl chloride
with the valves and patented seals of
DuPont's Viton®. The pumps are 38" long
with a diameter of 1-1/2". 28 oz. per stroke.

Prominent Sigma® Pumps
AC Powered | Metering Pumps
The ProMinent® Sigma/ 2 diaphragm metering pump has a high strength metal-lined
housing for those components subject to load, and an additional plastic housing to
protect against corrosion. The reproducible metering accuracy is better than ±2 %
providing installation has been correctly carried out, and in the stroke length range of
30 % - 100 %. The stable, corrosion resistant metal and plastic housing is rated IP
65. To facilitate adaptation of the pumps to the widest possible range of processing
requirements we offer a choice of three gearbox ratios, three liquid end sizes, two
liquid end materials and either contact or analogue signal (e.g. 0/4 - 20 mA) control
options in the form of the S2Ca Sigma controller.

signal. The manual control feature allows
for a combined 1000:1 turndown resulting

Peristaltic Metering Pumps
The Peristaltic Metering Pump (PMP) provides chemical control for food processing plants, cooling towers, spray

A commonly used standard for nozzle size selection is the “nozzle number” which is equivalent to the nozzle
capacity in GPM at 4,000 PSI. Spray angle does not affect nozzle volume.
Nozzle Size = GPM x [Square Root (4000/PSI)] Example: 5 GPM at 1500 is a 8.0 nozzle

Many of our customers have said Strahman spray nozzles are the best on the market. That’s because at Strahman, we combine
modern and innovative engineering with premium quality parts to build hose nozzles strong enough to withstand even the most
rugged applications. All of Strahman’s spray nozzles are available in black, white or red, and are available made in bronze or
stainless steel. Special assembly for food grade is also available.
Strahman’s nozzles work best under these standards:

Maximum working pressure: 150 psi
Flow rates: 5-7 gpm under normal conditions (50-80 psi)/10 gpm max at 150 psi
This rubber-coated, precision-made nozzle enables the operator to achieve any type of stream of water – from a soft spray to a
strong, straight stream – simply by pressing the lever. This convenient control of the wash water assures better cleaning with
less effort. The Automatic Water Saver Spray Nozzle automatically shuts off when the lever is released, thereby conserving
water or reducing water consumption.
