& Application for OHS at Faculty of Public Health at Universitas
Indonesia has, since its establishment in 1996, long been offering
unique OHS assessment, consultation, training, advocacy, and
technical assistance towards the management of hazards & risk.
We provide the cutting edge approach for managing hazards &
risk including in the areas of risk management, OHS Management
System, Process Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene,
Occupational Health, Health & Safety Promotion, Ergonomics,

Pendahuluan
Memasuki era globalisasi sekarang ini menimbulkan
beberapa dampak pada berubahnya aktivitas pekerjaan. Hal
ini tidak dapat dilepaskan dari kemungkinan menimbulkan
munculnya potensi kerugian baru yang berkaitan dengan
hazard & risiko pada aktivitas pekerjaan. Maka tuntutan dalam
perkembangan keilmuan K3 untuk menjawab permasalahan
tersebut sangatlah penting.
Di lain pihak era globalisasi ini juga menimbulkan efek
pada meningkatnya persaingan bisnis dan juga tuntutan
konsumen pada kualitas produk yang digunakan. Hal ini dapat
menimbulkan tuntutan pemenuhan aspek K3 baik tingkat
nasional, regional maupun internasional.
Berdasarkan uraian di atas dapat dilihat bahwa aspek K3
merupakan isu penting baik pada aktivitas pekerjaan maupun
dunia bisnis. Hal ini menjadi dorongan yang kuat pada
perkembangan keilmuan K3 dalam menciptakan teknologi
dan SDM sebagai upaya menjawab tantangan permasalahan
yang ada.
Dalam rangka menjawab tuntutan perkembangan
keilmuan dan kebutuhan K3 di dunia bisnis maka Pusat Kajian
dan Terapan K3 (PKTK3) FKM-UI yang merupakan lembaga
pengkajian dan terapan bidang K3 turut berperan serta
dalam pemecahan permasalahan dan tantangan baik dalam
bidang keilmuan maupun teknologi K3 dengan melaksanakan
penelitian berupa kajian dan terapan bidang keilmuan
Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3). Selain itu, sektor
informal dan permasalahan K3 di publik juga merupakan
fokus penelitian PKTK3.
Pada tahun 2013,PKTK3 telah mendapat sertifikasi ISO
9001:2008 dan OHSAS 18001:2008 dari Sociate Generale de
Surveillance (SGS) Indonesia. Sertifikasi tersebut membantu
PKTK3 dalam meningkatkan performanya di bidang K3.

Preliminary
THE era of globalization has impacted and changed
work activities and technologies. There changes create the
potential for new losses associated with the new workplace
hazards and risks. The field of occupational health and
safety must develop solutions to answer the new challenges
in the workplace.
Globalization has also created increased business
competition and consumer demand for quality products.
This increase in industry has led to higher demand for OHS
services at the regional, national and international levels.
Occupational Health and Safety is important for both
workers and business owners in the global marketplace.
This creates a powerful impetus to the development of OHS
field to create technology and provide service to address
worldwide EHS challenges.
In order to answer the demands of scientific
development and needs of OHS in the business world,
Center for Assessment & Application of OHS (CAA-OHS)
FPH-UI, participates in solving problems and challenges
both in OHS science and technology by carrying out research
assessment, and application of Occupational Health and
Safety (OHS) principles. Others sector including informal
sectors as well as public health & safety were also our focus.
In 2013, PKTK3 has obtained ISO 9001:2008 and
OHSAS 18001:2008 certification from Sociate Generale de
Surveillance (SGS) Indonesia. The certification helps PKTK3
in increasing it's performance.

sejarah
PUSAT Kajian dan Terapan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan
Kerja Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat Universitas Indonesia
(PKTK3, FKM-UI) berdiri sejak 1996 dan mulai menjalankan
fungsi dan perannya di bidang pengembangan, implementasi,
pelatihan, dan konsultasi keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja.
Awal berdirinya dimulai oleh sekelompok tenaga pengajar
di jurusan K3 yang merasakan begitu banyaknya masalah K3
diluar jangkauan jalur pendidikan sehingga dipandang perlu
untuk mendirikan suatu lembaga yang lebih mengkhususkan
perhatian kepada hal-hal yang bersifat pengembangan dan
pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam bidang keilmuan K3.

CAA-OHS FPH is part of the Public Health Depart of the
Universitas Indonesia and its vision and mission are to conduct
OHS research, assessment and training, both at national and
international level. The priority is always to provide quality
service with strong science, effectiveness and efficiency.

The Center for Assessment and Application of Occupational
Health and Safety, Faculty of Public Health, Universitas
Indonesia (CAA-OHS, FPH-UI) was established in 1996 and
began to provide occupational health and safety program
development, implementation, training and consultation.
Group of lecturers in the department of OHS initially
established the Center because they felt so many OHS
problems were beyond the range of educational paths, so
it was necessary to establish an institution that was more
specialized to develop and provide service in the science of
OHS.

The Center for Assessment and Application of OHS (CAAOHS) FPH-UI is an institute of OHS assessment and application
which perform the function one of college Tridarma by
performing research and service and also participating in
solving problems and challenges both in OHS science and
technology.
CAA-OHS FPH-UI has the scope of activities as follows :
PUSAT Kajian dan Terapan K3 (PKTK3) FKM-UI merupakan
lembaga pengkajian dan terapan K3 yang menjalankan fungsi
salah satu tridarma perguruan tinggi yaitu menjalankan
penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat serta berperan serta
dalam pemecahan permasalahan dan tantangan baik dalam
bidang keilmuan maupun teknologi K3.
PKTK3 FKM-UI memiliki ruang lingkup kegiatan sebagai

Jasa Konsultasi, meliputi konsultasi perusahaan dalam

Pelatihan merupakan pendekatan dalam pelaksanaan K3
yang berguna untuk membantu pekerja dalam memperluas
pengetahuan mengenai K3 dan meningkatkan produktifitas.
Oleh karena tingginya kebutuhan dan permintaan yang ada,
kami menyediakan jasa pelatihan yang topiknya disesuaikan
dengan kompetensi yang wajib dimiliki setiap petugas safety
atau penanggung jawab safety. Pelatihan diberikan dalam dua
bentuk yaitu training regular dan in house training. Adapun

Kami juga menyediakan jasa konsultasi K3 bagi klien
untuk membantu menangani permasalahan yang ada. Jasa
konsultasi ini dilakukan dalam bentuk asistensi kepada pihak
perusahaan sampai pada penyelesaian masalah. Tahapan
konsultasi ini dimulai dari analisis permasalahan, melakukan
perencanaan, penerapan sistem sampai pada implementasi

Training Chemical Hygiene Management
BAHAN kimia banyak digunakan dalam lingkungan kerja
dan industri. Umumnya, bahan kimia digunakan sebagai
bahan baku dalam proses industri maupun hasil produksi.
Penggunaan bahan kimia untuk industri ini menyebabkan
pekerja selalu terpajan bahaya dari bahan-bahan kimia
yang memiliki risiko yang tinggi karena sifat-sifat bahan
kimia yang mudah terbakar, beracun, dan berbahaya
bagi kesehatan. Oleh karena itu, bahaya bahan kimia ini
harus dikelola dengan baik. Pelatihan ini dapat membantu
perusahaan untuk mengelola risiko bahan kimia tersebut
melalui upaya perlindungan kesehatan manusia dan atau
pekerja, fasilitas, dan instalasi, serta lingkungan di setiap
kegiatan pada simpul daur hidup bahan kimia dari penyalahgunaan bahan kimia dan penggunaan bahan kimia
yang salah.
Training Industrial Hygiene Hazard Monitoring
BAHAYA dan risiko merupakan sesuatu yang tidak bisa
dipisahkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, terutama dalam
dunia industri. Akan tetapi, bahaya dapat dikendalikan
untuk menurunkan tingkat risiko yang ada. Pengelolaan
terhadap potensi bahaya ini harus dilakukan melalui monitoring secara berkala terhadap setiap bahaya dan risiko
yang ada. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan
pengetahuan dan keterampilan pekerja dalam :
• Mengidentifikasi bahaya fisik, kimia, dan biologi di tempat
kerja
• Memahami strategi kajian pajanan dalam melakukan
sampling dan pengukuran

Training Industrial Hygiene Laboratories
Secara umum pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan
pengetahuan dan keterampilan pekerja dalam melakukan
pengukuran terhadap berbagai bahaya di tempat kerja.
Setelah mengikuti pelatihan ini peserta diharapkan:
• Mengetahui cara menggunakan alat sampling
• Memahami berbagai metode sampling dan analisis nilai
batas pajanan
• Memahami cara mengintreperetasikan hasil laboratorium
pada sampling
Training Industrial Hygiene and Occupational Health HazardRisk Assessment (HIRA)
ASPEK kesehatan kerja merupakan bagian yang tidak terpisahkan dan sangat penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang sehat. Sehingga perlu dilakukan penilaian
risiko terhadap berbagai bahaya kesehatan yang ada di
tempat kerja. Pelatihan ini memberikan wawasan dan
keterampilan yang komprehensif kepada peserta tentang
langkah-langkah dalam melakukan penilaian risiko terhadap berbagai bahaya kesehatan dan implementasinya di
tempat kerja.

Pelatihan K3 Umum dan Tingkat
Dasar
Secara umum pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan
wawasan, pengetahuan dan keterampilan dasar dalam K3
termasuk penerapannya di tempat kerja. Setelah mengikuti
pelatihan ini peserta diharapkan:
• Memahami prinsip dasar dalam K3
• Memahami penerapan K3 di tempat kerja
• Memahami prinsip dasar dan penerapan aspek-aspek K3
diantaranya keselamatan kerja, kesehatan kerja, industrial
hygiene, ergonomic dan aspek perilaku dalam K3.
Pelatihan K3 Umum Tingkat
Lanjut
Setelah mengikuti pelatihan ini peserta mampu memahami
dan mampu menerapkan aspek K3 sesuai dengan bidang
pekerjaannya masing-masing. secara khusus, pelatihan
ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan wawasan keterampilan
dalam:
• Mengidentifikasi bahaya dan risiko serta menentukan
program pengendalian baik yang terkait dengan
keselamatan kerja, kesehatan kerja, industrial hygiene,
ergonomic dan lain-lain
• Menyusun
rencana,
mengembangkan
program
pengendalian bahaya dan risiko K3 di perusahaan
baik yang terkait dengan aspek engineering control,
administratif dan perilaku.
Pelatihan Proses Safety
Management
ASPEK keselamatan kerja adalah bagian yang tidak terpisahkan
dan sangat penting di dalam menciptakan sistem proses
industri yang aman dan handal. Untuk itu perlu didukung
dengan kemampuan SDM yang kompeten baik terhadap
sistem proses itu sendiri maupun aspek sistem manajemen
keselamatan.
Pelatihan ini memberikan wawasan dan keterampilan
kepada peserta terhadap bagaimana mengembangkan dan
melaksanakan sistem manajemen keselamatan di industri.
Setelah mengikuti pelatihan ini peserta diharapkan:
• Mengetahui dan mampu menerapkan prinsip dan filosofis
dasar dalam keselamatan proses
• Mengembangkan dan menyusun elemen-elemen
pelaksanaan manajemen keselamatan proses
• Memahami dan mampu melakukan audit internal
implementasi manajemen keselamatan proses di industri.

Deskripsi Pelatihan Publik
SETELAH mengikuti pelatihan ini, peserta diharapkan memiliki
wawasan, pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang komprehensif
tentang pelaksanaan Hazard Operability Study (Hazops) di industri sebagai bagian yang sangat penting dalam pelaksanaan
pengendalian hazard & risiko keselamatan suatu proses industri.
Pelatihan Investigasi dan
Pencegahan Kecelakaan di
Tempat Kerja
MASALAH kecelakaan di tempat kerja masih menjadi
fenomena yang belum terselesaikan. Hal ini dapat dipengaruhi
oleh masih belum optimalnya pemahaman terhadap kejadian
kecelakaan dan kemampuan untuk menentukan tindakan
pengendalian dan pencegahan kecelakaan. Melalui pelatihan
ini peserta akan dilatih untuk meningkatkan perspektif
terhadap masalah kecelakaan yang menyeluruh sehingga
dapat mendukung pelaksanaan K3 di tempat kerja dan pada
akhirnya akan mengurangi tingkat risiko kecelakaan.
Pelatihan Manajemen Risiko K3
Umum
KEMAJUAN industri dan teknologi mendorong perubahan
karakteristik pekerjaan serta bahaya yang ditimbulkannya.
Berbagai macam industri memiliki karakteristik pekerjaan
yang berisiko, seperti risiko keselamatan (kebakaran, ledakan,
dan tumpahan minyak) dan risiko kesehatan yaitu munculnya
penyakit akibat kerja. Berdasarkan hal itu maka perlu
diterapkan upaya untuk mengelola atau upaya pencegahan.
Sesuai dengan karakteristik industrinya maka penting
diterapkan manajemen risiko, yaitu upaya yang dilakukan
untuk mengelola risiko untuk mencegah timbulnya kerugian.
Penerapan manajemen risiko perlu didukung dengan kesiapan
SDM yang handal sehingga dapat menerapkan manajemen
risiko yang tepat, efektif dan efisien sesuai dengan jenis
kegiatan pekerjaan.
Pelatihan Keselamatan Bidang
Kimia (Chemical Safety)
DI BERBAGAI bidang pekerjaan dan industri, hampir
seluruhnya mengunakan bahan kimia terlebih lagi pada
industri yang hasil produknya adalah bahan kimia. Pengelola
atau perusahaan perlu mengetahui potensi hazard dan risiko
apa saja terkait dengan proses kerja yang melibatkan bahan
kimia, sehingga dapat menentukan upaya pengendalian
serta pencegahan kecelakaan. Pelatihan ini dapat membantu
perusahaan dalam menerapkan aspek keselamatan yang
diperlukan dalam proses kerja yang melibatkan bahan kimia.

Perilaku dan Budaya K3 di
Perusahaan
Sampai pada perkembangannya saat ini pendekatan
impelementasi K3 tidak hanya fokus pada aspek engineering
dan sistem manajemen K3. Aspek perilaku dan budaya K3
terbukti efektif untuk meningkatkan K3 secara keseluruhan.
Perlu juga keterlibatan semua pihak dalam mewujudkan
ini. Pelatihan ini dapat membantu perusahaan dalam
meningkatkan wawasan, pengetahuan dan keterampilan
dalam mengembangkan, menyusun dan implementasi
program K3 berbasis perilaku dan budaya.
