We ask for your co-operation and request you abide by the following guidelines designed to assist you. BY CAR Please note: - There is NO car parking on site, and all neighbouring roads are protected with a controlled parking zone. Park & Walk: DO’S Do keep your ticket with you at all times. Do be in your seat by the start of the show. Do allow ample time to take advantage of the toilet facilities. Do bring waterproof clothing. Do put any rubbish in the bins provided for you. Do look out for official vendors and concession stalls. Do avoid unlicensed traders outside of the venue offering inferior goods. Do tune in to local radio stations for the latest travel updates. Car parking spaces in close proximity to the venue are being sold on a first come, first served basis. To guarantee your car parking space, we strongly recommend you pre-book via www.leicestershireccc.co.uk DON’TS Do not bring food or drink of any sort into the venue. Do not arrive with any form of audio or visual recording equipment. There will be security checks in place and items may be confiscated if necessary. Do not put up umbrellas during the concert performance. Do not leave valuables on display in your vehicle. ACCESS Access to the venue will commence at 4.30pm. Please enter by the gates indicated by signage and stewards. From here follow the signage around the venue to find the area, block, row and seat indicated on your ticket. YOUR SEATS This is an outdoor concert. The seating in blocks AA, BB, CC and DD are flat floor, not raised. Blocks F,G & H are slight teared seating. Seats within the venue are all uncovered. The concert will not be cancelled in the event of inclement weather. Please bring clothing appropriate to the expected weather conditions. Please note that there will NOT be a luggage storage or cloakroom facility at the venue. ON ARRIVAL The concert will commence at approx 6.30pm and finish at approx 10.15pm. Please allow plenty of time for your journey and for parking and transfer, as well as getting to your seat. REFRESHMENTS A range of food and drink will be available to purchase at the venue. Please note there will be limited access to chip and pin payment machines in food and drink areas. Cash machines will NOT be available within the venue, the closest ATMs are located on Aylestone Road (BP Garage) and Saffron Lane (Tesco). NO CAMERAS OR RECORDING EQUIPMENT Please do not bring audio/ visual recording equipment as these will not be permitted within the venue. FIRST AID First Aid points are situated within the venue and are clearly signposted. Any steward will be pleased to direct you. WARNING: Exposure to loud music can cause injury to your hearing. People around you may stand. Directions for those travelling from outside of Leicester: • From the North or South:- Leave the M1 at Junction 21, then take the A4560, then join the A563 (signposted ring road for Leicester South), turn left onto Lutterworth Road, which becomes Aylestone Road, (turn left into Raw Dykes Road for parking at King Power Stadium and Filbert Street). • From the West Midlands:- via M6 to M69 then follow signs for Leicester and A5460, then A5460, then join the A563 (signposted ring road for Leicester South), turn left onto Lutterworth Road, which becomes Aylestone Road, (turn left into Raw Dykes Road for parking at King Power Stadium and Filbert Street). • From Kettering and Market Harborough:- use A6, turn left at roundabout onto A563, turn right into Lutterworth Road, which becomes Aylestone Road, (pre-booked sites at Nationwide Car Repairs, British Gas, and King Power Stadium/Filbert Street are at various left turns off Aylestone Road – see map on reverse). • From Peterborough:- use A47, turn left at roundabout onto A594 becoming Tigers Way, turn left onto Welford Road, bear right where road splits, go straight across traffic lights onto Counting House Road, (continue across onto Raw Dykes Road for parking at King Power Stadium and Filbert Street). EVENT DAY PARKING See map on reverse for locations. All Reservation Only - Book online at www.leicestershireccc.co.uk Park & Ride: 1. King Power Stadium, Filbert Way, LE2 7FL - Approx 690 spaces. Car Park opens at 3:30pm. Pre-concert shuttle buses run from 4pm8pm. Post-concert shuttle buses run until midnight. Shuttle bus drop off and return pick up points within a 5 minute walk to the Fischer County Ground, Grace Road (Entrance C - Milligan Road). Otherwise an approx 25 minute walk to/from the venue. - £10.00 Concert Parking (Including free shuttle bus service pre-concert & post-concert). - £14.00 Overnight Parking* (Including free shuttle bus service preconcert) * Your car must be collected by 5pm, Sunday 12th June. 2. Filbert Street Car Park, Filbert Street, LE2 7FN - Approx 370 spaces. Car Park opens at 3.30pm/closes at midnight. Pre-concert shuttle buses run from 4pm-8pm from King Power Stadium (5 minutes walk). Post-concert shuttle buses run until midnight back to King Power Stadium. Shuttle bus drop off and return pick up points within a 5 minute walk to the Fischer County Ground, Grace Road (Entrance C - Milligan Road). Otherwise an approx 30 minute walk to/from the venue. - £10.00 Concert Parking (Including free shuttle bus service pre-concert and post-concert). Approx 5-10 minute walk to Fischer County Ground, Grace Road (Entrance A - Park Hill Drive). Car Park opens at 3.30pm/closes at midnight. £10.00 Concert Parking 4. Saffron Lane Athletics Ground, Saffron Lane, LE2 7NQ – Approx 100 spaces. Approx 10-15 minute walk to Fischer County Ground, Grace Road (Entrance C - Milligan Road). Car Park opens at 3.30pm/closes at midnight. £10.00 Concert Parking 5. British Gas, Aylestone Road, LE2 7QJ – Approx 240 spaces. Approx 15 minute walk to Fischer County Ground Grace Road (Entrance A - Park Hill Drive). Car Park opens 3.30pm. £10.00 Concert Parking / £14.00 Overnight Parking* * Your car must be collected by 5pm, Sunday 12th June. Alternative car parking – pay on arrival: Available at various sites in Leicester City Centre (3,000 + spaces) PUBLIC TRANSPORT Bus routes from Leicester City Centre • Arriva routes 47 & 48 operate from and to the Haymarket Bus station and serve Saffron Lane in a circular direction. • Arriva routes 84, 84A & 85 operate from St Margaret’s Bus Station and serve Aylestone Road. • First services 88 & 88A depart from Humberstone Gate East and serve Saffron Lane. Further information on timetables can be found at www.arrivabus.co.uk & www.firstgroup.com. Please check timings before travelling to and from the concert. Post-concert – An additional bus service is running back to Leicester City Centre following the concert. This service is running from Aylestone Recreation Ground on Knighton Lane East (off Saffron Lane, marked ‘6’ on the reverse map). This service is a 5-minute walk (approx) from the Fischer County Ground, Grace Road when using the Milligan Road exits and will run until midnight. There will be one drop off point (at the top of Welford Road - New Walk area). - The cost of this service is £3.00 - pay on bus (cash only). Trains/Taxis Leicester Train station is approximately three miles from the venue. There will be limited evening train services. Please check nationalrail. co.uk for train timetables before travelling to the concert. If you are travelling by taxi please ensure an appropriate pick up point is arranged in advance.
