Take your best shot of the 2016 Balloon Glow and/or the Great Forest
Park Balloon Race and you could receive a year's worth of movie
passes for two from Wehrenberg Theatres. Thousands also will see
your great winning photo! Winning photos for all four age categories
will be featured on greatforestparkballoonrace.com, Wehrenberg.com
and STLtoday.com. In addition, your photo will be onscreen prior to
movies at all nine St. Louis-area Wehrenberg Theatres — that's 131
screens!
One First Prize will be awarded in each of the following four age categories: Under 13; Young
Adult, Age 13-20; Adult, Age 21-44 and Adult, Age 45+.
Photographs will be judged on originality, technical excellence, composition, overall impact and
artistic merit. All decisions by the judges will be final and binding. Both the Great Forest Park
Balloon Race on Saturday, Sept. 17 and the Balloon Glow, Friday, Sept. 16 will be held at
Central Field in Forest Park (near the Jewel Box).
EXCLUSIVE RACE FIELD ACCESS FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS: At 2 p.m. on Race Day, Sept.
17, there will be a special balloon inflation at the race, and photographers will be allowed on the
field to get a close-up view of the beautiful balloons.
HOW TO ENTER: Simply put your name, age, address and phone number on the back of your
photo entry. Photos without this information in full will be disqualified. Mail your photos to:

Photo entries must be postmarked by Oct. 24, 2016. Photos will not be returned and become
property of Wehrenberg Theatres. Judging will take place by Nov. 9, 2016. Winners will be
notified through contact information provided. Winners may need to sign release forms upon
acceptance of prizes. Winners will be notified by Nov. 23, 2016.
The photo contest is open to amateur photographers of all ages who reside in the 50 United
States and the District of Columbia. Children under 13 need parent or guardian permission to
enter. This contest is void outside the United States and where prohibited. Photos must be of the
2016 Great Forest Park Balloon Race or Balloon Glow to qualify. By entering this competition,
you agree to these entry rules and the following legal conditions. A list of winning entrants is
available by sending a request and self-addressed envelope to Wehrenberg Theatres, 12800
Manchester Rd., St. Louis, MO 63131.
