How to get there
Surrounded by the magnificent Nahuel Huapi
National Park (which forms part of the North Patagonian Andes Biosphere Reserve), Bariloche is
considered the “tourism capital” of Patagonia and
the national capital of adventure tourism, characteristics which have made it world-renowned. Its
Domestic and international access to Bariloche is
easy. There is an airport that receives regular flights
from Buenos Aires, Mendoza and Calafate. In addition, there are a great number of charter flights
that arrive from Brazil and Uruguay. Bariloche also
receives daily long-distance buses from Argentine

the picturesque and exclusive vessel
Kaikén Patagonia, we propose exploring
Brazo Tristeza, a deep glacial fjord in the
southwestern section of Lake Nahuel
Huapi, amid the majestic landscape of
waterfalls and steep mountains.
After navigating two hours we land at
the edge of the forest where an easy
walk takes us through a cane tunnel to
an imposing waterfall, as we admire the
particular plant and wildlife of the area.

Turisur stands out in the corporate
field, organizing exclusive boat trips in
the symbolic “Modesta Victoria”. The
ship was built in 1937 in Holland at the
special request of the Department of
National Parks (Dirección de Parques
Nacionales), during the presidency of
Exequiel Bustillo. It was completely
disassembled and transported in parts
by ship and train to Bariloche, where
it was then reassembled and launched
in a grand ceremony in the presence of
all the local citizens on November 10th,
1938. Within its fleet, Turisur also has
two catamarans which complete the
corporate service and offer the possibility of making daytime and nighttime
excursions, such as the traditional tours
of Isla Victoria y Arrayanes and Puerto
