hris DeVries, 2014 chamber chairman, along with the
board of directors and staff of the Texas City-La Marque
Chamber of Commerce request your attendance for the
45th annual Membership Banquet & Reception on Jan. 29 at
the Charles T. Doyle Convention Center, 2010 5th Ave. N., Texas
City.
A reception will be held at 6:30 p.m., along with a VIP reception for banquet sponsors. The banquet will begin at 7 p.m.
DeVries, of Standard Steel Supply, will pass the gavel to 2015
Chairwoman Connie Bradley, of Marathon. The banquet program will include the presentation and installation of the 2015
Chamber officers and directors, as well as naming the Citizen of
the Year, Small Business of the Year and the Leslie Hayley Community Service Award.

CHAMBER BRIEFS
La Marque Christmas Parade
It was an “Merry Texas Christmas” in La
Marque as hundreds of holiday-spirited people
came out to watch the La Marque Christmas
Parade on Dec. 3.
The parade began at Bobby Beach Park and
ended at Walter Fiegel Park with the lighting of
the Christmas tree and children visiting with
Santa Claus.

chocolate, popcorn, hot dogs
• La Marque Kiwanis: Parade line-up
