The chief clerk of a textile mill colony dies in a fire as devastating as
it is inexplicable. His wife, Teresa, with her mother and two children,
is obliged to grant their residence to the new clerk, Climent, with

destined never to flourish. The story evokes life in the 1950’s at a
textile mill colony, one of many along Catalonia’s Llobregat.
On a mission to fulfil Paloma’s last request, her friends Carol and
Mariona, travel with her sister Bego to Valencia to scatter her ashes.
The journey, which seems to be orchestrated from the great beyond

Joseph suffers his daughter´s kidnapping in a park. Determined to
