The Cartex-DN features dual pressure
balancing. It can be used as a double
seal (p3 > p1) or as a single seal with
quench (p1 > p3). Either way, the seal is
hydraulically balanced. However, the crucial advantage lies in the safety aspect
in the event of buffer fluid pressure failure or reverse pressure. The seal remains
closed and functional, preventing abrupt,
excessive leakage.
