balers, and Christmas tree netting selections provide excellent options for wholesale, retail and Choose

We continue to promote the “ANSWER STAND & DISPLAY SYSTEM” which is perfect for retail
lots and Choose & Cut farms. Our stands can easily display a Christmas tree in under ten seconds,
and our Display System provides the easiest, most natural looking display of cut trees to draw your

Finally, it is with sad hearts that we share the news that one of our valuable team members,
Tim Thurston, passed away on March 14th, 2013. Tim is pictured here with Ken Wahmhoff and our
MCTA Grand Champion Colorado Spruce tree. Winning Grand Champion with our Spruce tree gave us
the honor of providing Michigan’s Governor Snyder with his Christmas tree. We then won Reserve
Grand Champion at the National Christmas Tree Convention and had the honor of providing Christmas
trees to Vice President Biden in our country’s great capital, Washington D.C. (see pictures below).

ONE-SEAT PLANTER
One-Seat Planter
This is Tree Equipment Design's original Tree Planter and has proven to be a highly
versatile transplanter. This one seat model is used mostly for planting Christmas trees or
small nursery stock. The planter will plant 8,000 to 10,000 trees daily, which will mainly
depend on soil conditions. The One-Seat model includes the following:

Special features of the Two-Seat model include hydraulic hillside control, scrapers, and highbacked seats. You have a plant box on each side to carry your plant nursery stock. The planter
will plant 10,000 to 15,000 trees daily, which will mainly depend on soil conditions. Weight
is 1,000 pounds. The Two-Seat model includes the following:

TWO-SEAT PLANTER
Shade Tree Planter
The Shade Tree Planter will plant 6,000 to 8,000 trees daily. Two adjustable 48-inch scrapers
push and roll the soil back into the trench, covering the root mass to the predetermined level.
The two packing wheels compact the soil over the roots to hold the freshly planted tree in
place. Note: Planter shoe not included. This model uses 18-inch to 24-inch Plow Shoes and ships
completely assembled.

SHADE TREE PLANTER
Two Shoe Designs: Suction-Point Shoe and Plow Shoe designs.
The width of the hole you will need to dig will determine what size shoe you need to order
(10-inch shoe will dig a 10-inch wide hole). You can replace the point on both shoes by a pin
with no welding necessary. You can completely change a shoe for a different shoe size by
simply using one pin.

SOIL MOIST ROOT DIP PLANTING GEL
SOIL MOIST Root Dip Fines comes as a powder, mixes with water to make “SLOP”, a gel to dip seedling/transplant roots into prior to planting. It keeps roots moist until planted, then draws moisture back to the roots
at dry times. It is a safe, non-toxic polymer that can reduce irrigation frequency by 50% and also reduces
transplanting shock. We wouldn’t plant or transplant without it! We mix the Root Dip Fines powder in with
water in a 5 gallon bucket and let the product stand for several minutes to thicken. One pound will treat ROOT DIP
5-7000 seedlings or 2-3000 transplants. Wt: 1 lb

color (less blue tint) than the original Super Pinegreen. Special Formula II returns trees to their natural

your return to Pre Pay terms. SHIPPING Most in-stock items are shipped within 24 hours of receipt of your order. However, during the busy Christmas
season it may take longer to process your order, so we encourage you to place your order for Harvest and Christmas supplies early. UPS is our
primary shipper. UPS has limitations on the size, weight, and content of parcels they will handle. Weight limitations per package are 150 lbs.; Size limitations are 130 inches in length and girth combined to avoid additional handling charges. Packages between 130 and 165 inches can be shipped with
an additional $50 handling charge. UPS packages over three cubic feet in size are billed by dimensional weight. Call us for details or for a freight
quote.
ADDITIONAL CHARGES: $10.00 per package for Cash On Delivery (C.O.D.) orders. $ 8.50 for packages that exceed 60” in length; $8.50 per package
for anything not encased in cardboard; $11.00 per package for Address Correction. Motor Freight Shipment of Oversized Items: Orders that exceed
the limitations stated above must be shipped via Motor Freight. Your charges are based on distance, weight, and type of merchandise. Wahmhoff
Farms can select the appropriate carrier for your area, or you may specify a carrier. We have contracts with LTL carriers for larger shipments that

How to Plan a Display:
Buy 1 Display Kit to start each segment of your display:
1 Kit = 4 Display Centers + 4 Support Bars, and will display 4 Christmas Trees.
To increase the original display, always increase centers by even numbers.
For every additional 2 centers added to the original display, add 3 support bars
( # of centers x 1.5 = # of support bars).
For example, to display 50 trees in a continuous display, you will need:
1 Display Kit (4 centers, 4 support bars); 46 additional centers, and 69
additional support bars (46 x 1.5 = 69).
OR...
12 kits + 2 centers + 21 additional support bars.
