General Information
LUKOIL is a major international vertically-integrated oil & gas company,
accounting for 2.2% of global crude oil output.
LUKOIL was established in 1991 by merging a group of oil-and-gas production companies located in the Western Siberian cities of Langepas,
Urai and Kogalym. The initial letters of these cities were derived to form
the acronym LUK.
LUKOIL, one of the world’s largest oil companies, operates on the principle “From the Wellhead Down to the Gas Station,” meaning that it is active
in oil production, refining, wholesale and retail sale of petroleum products.
The Company’s marketing network encompasses 22 countries worldwide, including Russia, CIS countries (Ukraine, Belarus, Azerbaijan,
Moldova), EU countries (Finland, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary,
the Czech Republic, Georgia, Lithuania, Latvia, Croatia, Estonia, Belgium,
Cyprus), Turkey, Serbia, Macedonia, Montenegro, and the United States.
The company accounts for 1.0% of global oil reserves and 2.2% of global
oil production.
LUKOIL’s operations are organized into three business segments:
Exploration and Production (E&P); Refining, Marketing and Distribution;
and Petrochemicals.
The E&P segment includes exploration, development, and production operations relating to crude oil and natural gas. These activities are located primarily within Russia, with additional activities based in Azerbaijan,
Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, the Middle East, Colombia, and northern
and western Africa.
The Refining, Marketing, and Distribution segment includes refining
and transport operations, as well as marketing and trading of crude oil,
natural gas, and refined products. LUKOIL runs four main oil refineries in
Russia with a combined refining capacity of approximately 45.1 mln t,
and refineries outside Russia (Odessa (Ukraine), Burgas (Bulgaria),
Ploiesti Refinery (Romania), Helsinki (Finland), and Izmir (Turkey)).
The company is focused on increasing product volume exported as well
as expanding geographical diversity. LUKOIL’s retail network spans
30 countries, including Russia, the Baltic States, the CIS and Europe.
In December 2010 we commissioned a catalytic cracking facility at our
Nizhny Novgorod refinery, the largest catalytic cracking facility built
in Russia for the last 25 years, enabling production of gasoline which
is fully compliant with Euro-5 standards.
LUKOIL’s petrochemical business is the largest in Russia and Eastern Europe.
LUKOIL has four major petrochemical plants producing various pyrolysis
and organic synthesis products, fuel fractions, and polymer products.

LUKOIL Lubricants
The production and sale of oils and lubricants plays an important part in LUKOIL’s
business. In 2005 LLK-International (LUKOIL Lubricants), a wholly-owned subsidiary of LUKOIL, was formed, and lubricants were spun off as a standalone business unit. LUKOIL Lubricants has become a unified responsibility center for this
business segment, which allows LUKOIL to consolidate accounting and ensure
unbiased evaluation of financial performance, react to market fluctuations, improve and develop lubricant production, conduct research, and optimize lubricant marketing.
LUKOIL Lubricants produces a wide array of products that meet the most advanced operating requirements and specifications of both Russian and foreign vehicle and equipment manufacturers. This array includes base oils (used as inputs
for production of ready-to-use oils and lubricants) and industrial oils for use in factory equipment, as well as motor and transmission oils for all types of transport.

Today LUKOIL Lubricants controls the manufacture of more than 40% of all lubricants produced in Russia, amounting to around 1.3 mln t, and markets these products in more than 40 countries across the globe.
LUKOIL Lubricants commands extensive resources enabling it to develop advanced technologies for the manufacture of lubricants and additives. At its inception, the company set up the Science and New Technology Department in charge
of developing know-how technologies and the formula for new types of highquality lubricants, which advanced engineering requires. This work is performed
by company specialists in close cooperation with Russian and leading world scientific organizations. By investing in science, LUKOIL Lubricants aims to enhance

LUKOIL GENESIS FE is an ultra high performance synthetic multigrade engine oil series thatprovides
remarkable low temperature performance. The oil is highly recommended as service fill oil in
vehicles covered by a warranty and in the post warranty period, too.
LUKOIL GENESIS FE provides excellent low temperature pumpability and engine cold start, reliable
protection against wear and corrosion in severe urban cycle conditions. Special attention is paid
to the detergent-dispersant and antioxidation properties. There are no harmful effects on the car’s
catalytic converter. Car manufacturers’ energy-efficiency characteristics and requirements on lowviscosity oils are taken into account. The oil conserves fuel and reduces emissions and is licensed by

BRIEF DESCRIPTION
LUKOIL Tp-22S industrial turbine oils are manufactured using high quality, mineral base oils and
additives that increase antioxidation, anticorrosion, foam suppression, and demulsifying properties.
LUKOIL Tp-22S are recommended for all types of turbine, including gas, steam, and hydroelectric,
marine turbines and drive systems. They do not contain extreme pressure additives (EP). These oils are
designed for the most severe operating conditions and applications requiring high anticorrosion and
antioxidation properties. They are also used as compressor oils in the application where manufacturers
recommend R&O fluids. Moreover, LUKOIL Tp-22S are recommended for use as a service fluid in the
control system of turbine units and hydraulic fluids in industrial equipment.
LUKOIL Tp-22S are manufactured in two grades: Grade 1 and Grade 2. Grade 1 ensures more
thermal and oxidative stability than Grade 2.

LUKOIL INTEGO is a family of high quality circulation lubricants for Morgoil type bearings of rolling
mills. LUKOIL INTEGO are formulated using deeply refined mineral base oils with a high viscosity
index and a high performance ashless additive package improving antioxidant, anticorrosion,
demulsifying, antifoam behaviour, as well as increasing the EP properties of the lubricants. The
lubricants demonstrate excellent oxidation and thermal stability, allowing it to be used with extended
drain intervals. Improved demulsibility of LUKOIL INTEGO allows it to be used at high and low
operating temperatures under wet conditions. An ashless additive package ensuring high hydrolytic

high performance lubricants are required. The oils are produced using selected base oils with a high

Ensure deep high quality quenching of large parts. Demonstrate long service life of the oils with a

In December 2008 LUKOIL has successfully completed pre-registration of chemicals in accordance with the requirements of the Regulation on Registration,
Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) adopted
by the European Parliament and the Council. As part of the procedure, a unique
reference number was assigned to each chemical coming from a particular manufacturer or importer. Manufacturers outside of the European Union had to appoint a special representative authorized to act as the importer of the goods producedby the given manufacturer.
“LUKOIL Neftochim Bourgas” AD (responsible for products manufactured at
the Company’s refineries, petrochemical enterprises and gas processing enterprises) and LLK LUBRICANTS ROMANIA (responsible for products manufactured by lubricant departments of the Company’s refineries) have been assigned
as OAO LUKOIL’s special EU representatives.
The total amount of the pre-registered chemicals manufactured by the Russian
and foreign refineries, petrochemical enterprises and gas processing enterprises
