AGELESS PEACE OF MIND PLAN: $200.00
Chicago comes alive with a narrated motor coach tour highlighting its rich history
and culture. Enjoy “The Magnificent Mile”, Chicago’s main shopping avenue
and home to many of the world’s great designers and brand name retailers.
Additional points of interest include Museum Campus, Buckingham Fountain,
Millennium Park, and the Art Institute. Follow this tour with lunch at Chicago’s
famous Portillo’s. Visit The Art Institute of Chicago, one of the world’s great art
museums, with collections dating from 3,000 B.C. through the present, including
French Impressionist paintings and a new Modern Wing designed by Renzo
Piano, fine and decorative arts from America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Latin
America as well as photography, textiles, and architectural works. This includes
a docent led tour followed by free time on your own at the institute.
After breakfast depart for the Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio tour. Frank
Lloyd Wright used his first home to experiment with design concepts that contain
the seeds of his architectural philosophy. In this adjacent studio, Wright developed
a new American architecture – the Prairie Style. After this tour enjoy a historic
neighbourhood walking tour. Oak Park is home to the world’s largest collection of
Wright-designed buildings. Lunch is included at Winberie’s Restaurant in Oak
Park. The remainder of the afternoon is free to explore on your own.
Praise the Lord and pass the biscuits! One of Chicago’s most famous culinary
treats is located at The House of Blues on the river in Marina City. The 45
minute Gospel performance and brunch is held in the Music Hall, designed to
replicate the “Estavovski” Opera House in Prague. This beautiful room hosts
the all-you-can eat Southern-style brunch buffet which includes champagne and
mimosas. This afternoon take the Chicago Architecture Foundation River
Cruise aboard Chicago’s First Lady; this 60 minute guided tour takes you along
different branches of the Chicago River, where you will learn about more than 40
architectural landmarks.
Walk from the hotel to tour the Museum of Contemporary Art. One of the nation’s
largest facilities devoted to the art of our time, the Museum of Contemporary Art
Chicago offers exhibitions of the most thought-provoking art created since 1945.
The remainder of the day is at leisure, and then meet up with the group for a

Spectacular Desert
Canyons
Grand, Bryce, and Zion Canyons
This tour of the Canyons features some of
the most spectacular scenery in the US.
It includes overnight accommodation at
Grand and Bryce National Park Lodges, as
well as the Red Cliffs Lodge and Lake Powell
Resort, both of which are located in the
heart of this amazing scenery. The Grand
Canyon, for example,
offers intricate
layering, maze-like
side canyons, vivid
colours, and epic
visual scale. It’s 445.8
km’s. long, up to 29
km’s wide and over
1.6 km’s deep, cutting
down through more
than two billion years
of geologic time,
exposing some of the oldest rocks on earth.
Another canyon wonder is Bryce, distinctive
due to geological structures called hoodoos,
formed by frost weathering and stream
erosion of the river and lake bed sedimentary
rocks. The red, orange, and white colors of
the rocks provide spectacular views. Bryce
sits at a much higher elevation than nearby
Zion National Park. The rim at Bryce varies
from 8,000 to 9,000 feet (2,400 to 2,700 m).
But let’s not forget the other canyons on the
tour: Arches, Zion, Glen Canyon, and the
amazing Lake Powell.
The tour includes park rangers / step-on
guides at all National Parks.
Tour includes: Round trip with WestJet, nine
nights accommodation, nine breakfasts, five
