Performance.
For many, just a word. For us, a whole world.
Mercedes-AMG is not just a manufacturer of performance vehicles and sports cars, AMG is a promise.
It’s the promise always to look for a challenge and to go one step further; to expect much and give absolutely everything.
This is how we create exceptional automobiles for exceptional people.
The Mercedes-AMG GLE likewise stands for our determination to make the most of everything – every moment, every meter.
Welcome to the world of AMG.
Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 AMG fuel consumption combined: 8,6 l/100 km; combined CO2 emissions: 199 g/km.
Freedom movement
with three letters.
The horizon knows no limits. And the same applies
to drivers of the Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 AMG.
This vehicle offers entry into a world where perfor‑
mance and passion matter. It combines the superior
technology of high-performance vehicles with the
irrepressible power of an SUV. The result is V6,
270 kW (367 hp), 520 Nm from 2000–4200 rpm
and intensity on every meter – for those who take it
all on. Because the more ambitious the destination,
the more exciting the journey.

Adventure calls.
The chassis answers.
The definition of perfect road holding? It lets the driver break out from everyday
life – but not from the bend. The permanent AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel
drive guarantees that the vehicle stays firmly on the ideal line. The 40:60 rearbiased torque distribution ensures the necessary power delivery paired with
maximum agility. The outcome in the cockpit is 100 % pure driving pleasure.

Performance athletes assembled.
No room for doubt. The GLE models from Mercedes-AMG have been setting the standard for
high-performance SUVs worldwide since 1999 – no one else has ever come close. From the
Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 AMG through the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 to the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S
the performance philosophy of the AMG brand becomes tangible in all its facets.
The only question that remains to be answered is: Which model is best for you?

Our definition of luxury –
more torque.
The performance begins when the sheer anticipation sets the driver’s pulse racing.
And taking it up a notch is effortless – because 585 horsepower (430 kW) are
lurking under the hood of the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S just waiting to be released.
Thanks to the DYNAMIC SELECT programs, they can master every pace from a
gentle trot to an unharnessed gallop. Up to 760 newton meters at 5250 rpm – this
power makes sure that the fascination of AMG escapes nobody.

The world’s fastest comfort zone.
The GLE models from Mercedes-AMG score top marks on the comfort scale. Finest
materials and outstanding craftsmanship fulfill the very specific demands of our
customers in the interior, too. From the sports seats clad in perforated nappa
leather, through the COMAND controller on the center console to the intelligent
central display, this is where the driver enjoys the feeling of having arrived – before
the journey has even begun.

Hold on tight.
But not to convention.
Designed for the limits of physics – the sports seats in the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S
are an in-house design and deliver excellent grip. The open road ahead, the AMG
Performance steering wheel in your hands, the shift paddles at your fingertips –
performance feels this good. The distinctive sound of the AMG sports exhaust system
makes a clear statement for all to hear – keeping up will not be easy.

Powerplay. With the focus on power.
Here comes the energy. The AMG 5.5-liter V8 biturbo engine sends shivers down
the spine with its tremendous power, catapulting the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S
to 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds. Every engine is handcrafted by our specialists –
according to the AMG philosophy “One Man – One Engine”. The engine plaque
bearing the personal signature of the technician marks a seal of quality and a
promise that the power of this engine is designed to thrill.

Our engineers have created
what you want.
The best things in life are the ones you control yourself. AMG DYNAMIC SELECT
offers five electronically controllable drive programs for delivering the vehicle’s
performance to the road in exactly the way you want. Be it “Comfort”, “Sport”,
“Sport +”, “RACE” or “Individual”, the intelligent damper adjustment ensures perfect
traction at all times. With the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S, dynamic performance is a
given – and every road something truly special.

The beauty and power of 585 horses.
The Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S is an irresistible force of nature, with AMG styling like the
front skirt with its characteristic A-wing, the twinblades in the radiator grille and the mighty
powerdomes on the bonnet. The transmission is equally agile – the AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS
7G-TRONIC adapts to each drive program selected in mere fractions of a second. There can
be no doubt that this is a true thoroughbred.

Driving Performance.
Even when braking.
The engine powering the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S has only one opponent of equal
stature – identifiable by the red brake calipers. The AMG high-performance braking
system demonstrates precision and responsiveness and its internally ventilated, per
forated brake discs deliver phenomenal stopping power. If you do choose to stop, you
can use the break to cast an eye over the “V8 BITURBO” badge. Those few letters
show just what this automobile stands for – driving experiences at the limits.

Supremacy needs technical genius.
And a home.
With the conviction that they can win, Hans-Werner Aufrecht and Erhard Melcher laid the foundation stone for
AMG in 1967. Together, they optimized engine performance and participated in customer sport. They were soon
competing against strong and established racing teams – winning their class at the legendary Spa 24 Hours
in 1971 with the AMG 300 SEL 6.8.
Their courage and their determination to risk the impossible, and to work hard at it, define the spirit
of our Affalterbach development facility to this day. This is where 1,300 employees work together
to develop fascinating performance vehicles and sports cars – built with high-tech and craftsmanship. 700 engineers in the development department make AMG a driver of innovation
within the sector. Our development center is continually setting new benchmarks with
state-of-the-art production management and pioneering sustainability concepts.

A network of vehicle take-back depots and dismantlers has been established to make it as easy as possible for you to return
your vehicle. You can leave it at any of these points free of charge. In so doing, you will be making a valuable contribution
towards completing the recycling loop and preserving resources.
