to New Year with tribute to Legendary
singer Mohammed Rafi
Al Mulla Exchange provided a great opportunity for music
lovers to journey back in time to the golden hits of India’s
man with the golden voice, Mohammed Rafi . The event
titled ‘Rafi Ki Ruhaniyat’ was held on Jan 1 and 2, 2016, at
the American International School, as a tribute to the
legendary singer. The music show had capacity turnouts of
more than 1,200 guests on both days. The tribute was
showcased by Shrikant Narayan, famed playback singer who
has got into The Limca Book of Records for his non-stop and
continuous rendition of Rafi songs. Touted as a singer
whose voice is perfectly near to Rafi ’s, Shrikant was able to
put the crowd into a rapturous mood of nostalgia. He was
able to bring in the various moods of Rafi with his wide
range of vocal prowess.
Al Mulla Exchange presents “DHWANI
2016”
Al Mulla Exchange organized a Malayalam musical concert
on 19th and 20th February 2016 featuring Sachin Warrier,
Abhi, Sithara Krishnakumar & Zia ul Haq. This was our
126th and 127th event. On the first day the event was
organized only for the nurses community.
Sachin Warrier is a playback singer in the Malayalam
cinema industry from Kerala. He became notable with the
song "Muthuchippi Poloru" from the film Thattathin
Marayathu. He made his debut with the movie Malarvaadi
Arts Club.
Sithara Krishnakumar is an Indian singer. Popularly known
by her first name, Sithara is a playback singer in Malayalam
who has also recorded songs for a number of Tamil, Telugu
and Kannada films.
Jimmy Bondoc entertains Pinoys in Kuwait
Al Mulla International Exchange Company, the leading
Exchange company in Kuwait got Jimmy Bondoc, the well
known Filipino artist to Kuwait for their customers. An
invitation only event for the customers of Al Mulla
Exchange, the event was attended by at least 1,800 people
each day on 15th and 16th of January. Jimmy Bondoc
enthralled the crowd and they were entertained with his hit
songs. On the first day it was the Ambassador of Philippines,
H.E. Renato Villa who was the Chief Guest followed by
Attorney Raul Dado from the Philippine Embassy on the
second day.

‘Fariha Pervez – Live in Concert’
Al Mulla Exchange, Kuwait’s leading Exchange Company,
continued to enthrall its customers with its latest musical
show by Pakistani singing sensation, Fariha Pervez, on Jan
9, 2016, at the American International School. The event
titled ‘Fariha Pervez — Live in Concert’ saw a huge
turnout of audience as expected, who were treated to a
melodious fare, weaving in and out of various musical
genres that Pervez is so adept at. Fariha Pervez easily
ranks among the topmost female singers in Pakistan, who
shot to limelight by co-hosting a popular children’s music
program.

Upuli show in cooperation with the Sri Lankan
Embassy
Al Mulla Exchange, organized a cultural fare for the Sri
Lankan community in Kuwait at the American
International School on Saturday, as part of the Sri Lankan
festive week tied to the country’s National Day on Feb 4.
Sri Lankan Ambassador to Kuwait, H.E. Kandeepan Bala,
was the chief guest at the show, which was organized in
association with the Sri Lankan Embassy in Kuwait, and
co-sponsored by Sri Lanka’s leading bank, Commercial
Bank. The main highlight of the show was the Channa
Upuli Dance Ensemble, who through their extraordinary
performances, have brought international fame to Sri
Lanka.
