You may access the updates by clicking on “Recent News.” CAMP PRICING Kids FACtory – School Age Camp WHO: Kindergarten – 6th grade WHEN: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM Due to the extensive programming, we offer only full time camp for this age group Jump Start Preschool WHO: Classroom 1: 1 – 3 year olds Classroom 2: 3 years – Pre-Kindergarten (must be completely potty trained to enroll) This age group will be taking a field trip once per week. Most field trips will be scheduled on Wednesday. This age group will not be swimming during camp. You do however have the option to place your child into swim lessons or place them on swim team in the summer. Our team will transition your children to/from lessons and/or practice. WHEN: Monday – Friday, 7:30AM – 6:00PM PRESCHOOL PROGRAM RATES: SCHOOL AGE PROGRAM RATES: Members: $159 per week Non-Members: $189 per week One time registration fee per camper: $30 Full Time – 5 Days Members: $159 per week Non-members: $189 per week One time registration fee per camper: $30 Full Time – Choose 3 Days (Available for Jumpstart only) REGISTRATION FEE: Includes Camp Shirt and supplies If you are registering for multiple weeks of camp, your registration fee is paid only once for the whole summer. Members: $99 Non-Members: $119 per week Kids FACtory and Jump Start Camp Payment Terms Registration fee and first week of camp must be paid at the time of registration. Each additional week of camp may be reserved by paying a $20 non-refundable deposit. The remaining balance of each upcoming week will be drafted the Wednesday prior to the start of camp. If the balance remains unpaid, your deposit will be forfeited and your place in camp will be given to the next camper on the waiting list. We only accept registrations for campers that either pay in full at registration or post a form of payment on file. We accept VISA, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. Sibling discount: $5.00 per week (applied to the balance) GROG n’ GRUB PIRATE SWAGGER Here’s what you need to bring: Pack a big peanut-free lunch and bring a refillable water bottle. FAC supplies a morning and afternoon snack for all campers. Campers will be allowed to purchase items from our poolside snack bar during their swim time. One day is designated for a field trip and the second day will be to a park or movie theater. In the event of rain, we will do our best to schedule the field trip on an alternative day or schedule an indoor alternative field trip if inclement weather persists. LEARN TO SWIM Fayetteville Athletic Club is proud to offer small group lessons for children. Small class ratios make it easier for your child to learn and retain the concepts of swimming and water safety. During the summer, your child may attend swim class Monday – Thursday. Please leave Friday open for make-up lessons. Classes are offered on a first come, first served basis and have 3-6 students per class. This course is geared to help students gain confidence through activities. SCHOOL AGE • AGES 5 – 12 YEARS OLD CLOWN FISH: This class is for young swimmers who are comfortable in the water and will place their face in the water without hesitation. We will work on learning to swim to a designated area and back safely. This level will also work on arm strokes and kicking as well as floating on his/ her front/back.. STING RAY: This level is an introduction to water skills. We will work on proper entry and exit from the pool. We will also work on bobbing, breathing and retrieving an object off the bottom f the pool. Emphasis is placed on survival skills such as floating and gliding. We also introduce front crawl/freestyle and back floating and gliding. DOLPHIN: This level places emphasis on improving freestyle. We will introduce breast stroke and back stroke. We will use floatation devices to become comfortable transitioning in the water between the floats. Additionally, we will work on changing direction while swimming, treading water and holding our breath while bobbing QUICKSTART JUNIOR TENNIS CAMPS Designed by the USTA, Quickstart Tennis gives kids an opportunity to rally a ball over the net and play points as quickly as possible – all in a fun environment! Quickstart program uses the appropriate size racquet, court and ball to encourage new tennis youth tennis players to do more – faster! We are offering 2 weeks of Quickstart Tennis camp during the summer of 2016. Quickstart camp runs from 9 AM – Noon, Monday – Friday. If you need before and after care, you may drop your child off with our Camp Arrrrrrkansas Kids from 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM at no additional charge. Our team will transition you child to Quickstart camp at 9 AM. If you need a full day camp, we also have an option to transition your camper from Quickstart Tennis camp to Camp Arrrrrrkansas at Noon daily. The transition is available for an additional $99 per week. If your age group is off property on a field trip, we will transition your child to the closest age group at FAC. RED BALL • 4–6 YEARS OLD • 36’ COURT • Children develop general motor and athletic skills • Focus is on coordination, movement and balance skills • Games are an important part of the program and promote fun while they are learning sending and receiving skills that develop their ability to rally WEEK # 2 DATES June 6–10 Monday-Friday ORANGE BALL • 7–10 YEARS OLD • 36’–70’ COURT • Players will be working on rally and point play skills to help them transition to the 60’ court • Children develop general motor and athletic skills • Focus is on coordination, movement and balance skills • Some skills will be repeated from previous sessions • Players will compete in team and individual challenges • Focused emphasis on swing shapes, spin, rallying and serving while moving quickly and efficiently GREEN BALL • 11 – 12 YEAR OLD • 78’ COURT • Players work on adapting stances and technique based on the intended shot • Varying and changing flight, spin, speed and direction of the ball • Further development of the serve and developing a tactical game plan.
