winning product design. This tradition continues with
the introduction of our 2008 product line.
Back to our roots…that’s what you’ll find as you
browse through the next few pages. These are the
most exciting products Cerwin-Vega Mobile has ever
offered. Want the loudest, most advanced woofer on
the planet with the capability of delivering out of this
world bass? The Stroker series is the answer. Want to
get loud and not spend a ton of money? The Vega
series has got you covered. From top to bottom,
Cerwin-Vega Mobile is still “Disturbing the Peace.”
Cerwin-Vega Mobile Amplifiers
provide the power you need, when you
need it. Our multi-award winning
Stroker subwoofers are power hungry
beasts, and our new Stroker amplifiers
are up to the challenge. With models
providing up to 2000 watts of RMS
power, how can you go wrong? Your
system isnʼt quite that extreme? Donʼt
worry, we havenʼt forgotten about you
either. The Vega series range from
250 to 500 watts RMS so low to
moderate powered systems are no
problem for us. Cerwin-Vega Mobile
amplifiers are the perfect balance of
power and performance.

Series Speakers
Vega Series speakers are designed
to “drop in” to existing factory
locations to make installation a snap.
Vega speakers feature a smooth
sounding silk dome tweeter that
has a swivel socket so it can be
angled to provide the best sound in
any installation. Coaxial models
include a 5.25”, 6.5” 6”x8” and
6”x9”. All models (except Vega 68)
include grilles. The Vega 65cs is a
component system that features a
1” silk tweeter and an outboard
12dB per octave crossover network.
All Vega series full range speakers
use rubber surrounds and high
performance poly cones.

Cerwin-Vega Mobile goes back
to our roots with the new Vega
series subwoofers. With classic
red rubber surrounds that invoke
the heritage of the brand and large,
aggressive dust caps that proudly
shout our name there is no doubt
what these subwoofers are made
for. Vega series subwoofers are
the best value available in this
category.
Woven tinsel leads
and large motors with bumped
backplates are usually found in much
more expensive models. They work
equally well in sealed and vented
boxes and are very efficient. Vega
subwoofers are available in dual 2
ohm and dual 4 ohm versions.
Convertible Systems

The high performance VMAX
convertible systems from CerwinVega Mobile are the ultimate in
installation flexibility. The tweeter
can be mounted separately from
the mid, and if you donʼt have space
available you can mount the tweeter
directly above the cone to create
a conventional coaxial speaker.
Whichever method you choose,
you wonʼt be disappointed. These
systems utilize a large 1” titanium
dome tweeter for brilliant high
frequency response, an outboard
12dB per octave crossover, a
mid-woofer
that
incorporates
a die-cast aluminum frame and a
mica injected polypropylene cone
with woven tinsel leads round out
these superb systems.

The new VMAX subwoofers are
the the most flexible subwoofers
Cerwin-Vega Mobile has ever
offered. They can do it all. Small or
medium sized sealed boxes are no
problem. Put them in a vented box
and your friends will be impressed
and your neighbors will be
annoyed. The VMAX subwoofers
have large rubber surrounds,
rugged die-cast frames with dual
spiders and massive 2.5” voice
coils. VMAX subwoofers are
available in dual 2 ohm and dual 4
ohm. All VMAX subwoofers handle
500 RMS power.

The legendary Stroker line from
Cerwin-Vega Mobile returns for
another year of class leading
dominance with Stroker and the
Stroker Pro. The Stroker Pro uses a
revolutionary three spider design
that can handle an amazing 2500
watts of power. Improving on our
original multi-patented design, the
Stroker Pro adds the third spider for
increased stability in high excursion
situations and is capable of an amazing
3 inches of Xmax peak to peak. Stroker
Pro are available in 12” and 15”
with dual 2 ohm voice coils.
The Stroker exemplifies the tradition
of the original by providing highoutput, and high performance in a
slightly smaller and less expensive
version than the Stoker Pro. It uses
a dual spider design and has a power
handling of 2000 watts. It has over
1 inch of XMAX in each direction.
All Stroker models will work in
sealed or vented boxes, but for
extreme SPL, Cerwin-Vega Mobile
always recommends using vented
boxes. Stroker and Stroker Pro
subwoofers are available in 12” and
15” with either dual 2 ohm or dual 4
ohm models.
