Modern factory for the production of complex mineral fertilizers Elixir Zorka from Šabac was founded as a result of
an investment worth over EUR 38.5 mil initiated in 2011, whereas the production of mineral fertilizers started in the
middle of 2013. The revitalization of the former Chemical Industry Zorka Mineral Fertilizers and the construction of
the technologically modern and environmentally safe facility were made in cooperation with renowned and licensed
domestic and foreign companies, specialized in designing and constructing chemical facilities. Installed equipment
and technology is in accordance with BAT standard for the production of NPK fertilizers, and the processes are in
accordance with the HAZOP system of analysis. All available resources are directed towards the fulfillment of the
strictest standards in order to minimize health dangers and to eliminate negative impacts the environment.
Elixir Zorka products fully meet all the requirements prescribed by the provisions of legal regulations of the Republic
of Serbia (Law on plant nutrition products and soil enhancers), as well as those prescribed by the European legislation
(EC 2003/2003) on the methods of circulation of mineral fertilizers on the territory of the EU. Free circulation of mineral
fertilizers in the EU has been enabled by establishing “EC FERTILISER” for the product and by registration of
substances which are constituent parts of the product, all in accordance with the Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 “REACH” – Regulation on Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals. Elixir Zorka made the
registration pursuant to the regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 – “REACH” of substances which are constituent parts of the
product.
At the beginning of the year 2014, the implementation of the following standards was initiated:

Designed capacity of the factory for the production of mineral fertilizers Elixir Zorka amounts 350.000 t/y for NPK, NP,
PK facility (1100 tons/day), whereas for the facility for the production of powder simple phosphoric fertilizers SSP and
TSP the designed capacity amounts 300.000 t/y (1.000 tons/day).
The factory Elixir Zorka is located in the Eastern industrial zone of Šabac, on 98th km of the Sava River waterway. It has
the port for loading and unloading of cargo ships. A contemporary traffic artery with four lanes runs along the eastern
zone which is connected to the regional roads M-19 and M-21. A railroad runs through the entire complex which is
connected to the Serbia railway network.
State-of-the-art technological solutions in the production of complex mineral fertilizers enable that produced formulations
have a high concentration of nutritive elements, high water-solubility and equal granulation. In this way we ensure
proper distribution of nutritive elements to plants and achieve maximum production results.

COMPLEX MINERAL FERTILIZERS
Complex fertilizers are fertilizers during the production of which a chemical reaction occurs among the components
which react reciprocally, whereby a homogenous product of uniform composition is created, representing certain
chemical compounds. Some basic characteristics of complex fertilizers, which distinguish them from complex-mixed
ones, are the fineness of granulation, Granules hardness and equal content of nutritive elements in each Granules.
Complex fertilizers are produced in two ways:
By direct chemical reaction of ammonium, phosphoric and sulphuric acid in tube reactor with addition of potassium salts during granulation.
By dissolution of raw phosphates by sulphuric and/or phosphoric acid, after which ammonium or potassium salts are added to generated compounds.
The produced complex fertilizers may be double (NP, PK, NK) or triple (NPK).
Elixir Zorka uses the following raw materials as the source of nutritive elements for the production mineral fertilizers:
Sources of nitrogen: ammonium, ammonium-nitrate, ammonium-sulphate and urea
Sources of phosphorus: phosphoric acid, superphosphates (SSP and TSP) and ammonium-phosphates (MAP and DAP)
Sources of potassium: potassium-chloride and potassium-sulphate
All elements that have favorable effects on growth and development of plants are classified as nutritive elements.

NutriMAP is a new mineral fertilizer produced with the aim to offer a complete
solution for nutrition of the largest number of arable crops to the agricultural
producers. It is characterized by a balanced ratio of the most important nutritive
elements: nitrogen, phosphorous, calcium, sulphur and zinc.
Homogeneous chemical and uniform granulometric composition of this
formulation ensures even distribution of nutritive elements in soil, whereby
nutrition efficiency of arable crops is increased. By application of this type of
fertilizer positive reactions among the most important nutritive elements as well
as their rational utilization are ensured.
Synergy of building elements NITROGEN-PHOSPHOROUS-CALCIUM-SULPHUR-ZINC
In order to prevent the lack of nutritive elements and avoid inadequate crop
nutrition, it is necessary to carefully analyze the nature of relations among the
most important nutrients. The latest agro-chemical researches have pointed out
the interactive relationship among essential building elements, which further
stresses out the importance of rational and balanced application of mineral
fertilizers according to biological requirements of arable crops.

More efficient nitrogen, smaller losses
Complex mineral fertilizer NutriMAP contains ammonium form as the basic source of nitrogen component, which is
readily available to the root system. Ammonium ion is not movable in land because it binds in the interlayer gaps of
clay minerals.
Maximum utilization of phosphorous
NutriMAP represents an excellent source of highly water-soluble phosphorous which is readily available to crops after
application of the same. Each granule of this fertilizer in contact with wet environment quickly starts the process of
decomposing.
SULPHUR belongs to the group macro-nutritive of building elements. In the event of sulphur deficiency, building
of nitrogen in proteins decreases, which causes slower growth of crops and slower ripening. This phenomenon is
especially distinct in case of cereals.
CALCIUM is one of important nutrients in the vegetative cycle of a plant and the same is responsible for proper
functioning of a large number of biochemical processes. Well nourished root system with calcium penetrates deeper
into the soil and ensures better provision of plant with water and nutritive elements.
ZINC is the activator of a large number of enzyme processes in plants, and it is especially important for the synthesis
of auxin, the growth hormone, and for protein metabolism. It also impacts the phosphorous uptake and transport,
increases tolerance towards diseases and weather changes.

By application of the complex mineral fertilizer NutriVeg we ensure that arable
crops are fully nurtured with all necessary macro and microelements in the
course of the production cycle. NutriVeg contains distinct amount of potassium
which plays an irreplaceable role in case of all vegetable and fruit crops.
Nitrogen in ammonium form ensures smaller losses of a nitrogen component, and

AmoSulfan
20% N + 24% S
AmoSulfan is nitrogen fertilizer which contains 20% of nitrogen and 24% of
sulphur. It is especially suitable for the nurture of all crop cultures. Ammonium
ion is not movable in land because it binds in the interlayer gaps of clay minerals.
The fixation of ammonium ion is a useful process since it prevents nitrogen losses
by evaporation, washing and denitrification, thus ensuring balance of nitrogen in
soil. From the aspect of the plant itself, fixation is also a positive process since
ammonium ion which is released gradually behaves as a slow-acting source of
nitrogen for plants.
Sulphur in this fertilizer impacts better utilization of nitrogen and its increase in
the plants. Its role in plants is multiple: it constitutes amino acids and proteins,
coenzymes, enzymes, participates in maintaining the balance between anions
and cations, constitutes various cell components, plays and important role in a
large number of biochemical processes.
The application of AmoSulfan significantly improves the availability and uptake
of phosphorous if it is blocked in soil.

Synergy of nitrogen and phosphorous
After application to the soil AmoSulfan starts decomposing to Ammonium nitrogenand sulphur. Part of Ammonium
nitrogenis gradually transformed from ammonium into nitrate form by means of nitrification bacteria, which ensures
the formation of two nitrogen forms that the plant can absorb.
By lowering down the pH value, blocked phosphorous (P) is released as well as essential microelements (B, Zn, Fe, Mn).

Advantages of AmoSulfan
It is recommended for all crop cultures, especially for those rich in carbohydrates (corn, barley). It is especially suitable

NutriOlive is inorganic, solid complex mineral fertilizer which contains a balanced
ratio of nitrogen, phosphorous, potassium and sulphur, with boron addition.
It is applied to olive plantations, as the basic fertilizer late in the autumn or early
in the spring. It contains the optimum ratio of macro-nutritive elements with boron
addition, which are necessary for proper growth and development of plants.
Adequate application of mineral fertilizers to olive plantations regulates the
duration of vegetation and increases resistance to low temperatures.
Prior to planting new olive seedlings and in old orchards, it is necessary to make
soil analysis in order to determine the amounts of necessary mineral nutrients
and adjust the application of fertilizers to the needs of olive orchards.
The application of complex mineral fertilizer NutriOlive in the amount of 3 to 5 kg
per tree is recommended.

STANDARD
NPK 15:15:15 + 11% S is inorganic, solid, complex mineral fertilizer which
contains all necessary macroelements – nitrogen, phosphorous, potassium as
well as secondary element sulphur.
It is applied to a large number of crop cultures due to its specific formulation
and balanced ratio of nutrients. It is recommended for soils which are equally
provided with phosphorous and potassium. This fertilizer can be applied in the
autumn, prior to primary cultivation or in the spring prior to or along with the
sowing. Exceptional quality of basic raw materials contributes to high solubility
and availability of phosphorous in the year of application.
