TRAVEL TIPS
• Please HAIL THE BUS as it
approaches your stop
• Route numbers in the front windscreen identify
which route the bus is operating on.
• The front 6-8 seats are reserved for aged and
handicapped passengers. Give up your seat for
someone that needs it.
• Please fold prams and make room for passengers.
• Smoking, eating and drinking are not permitted
aboard Surfside buses.
• Always tender the correct fare whenever possible.
Before you board the bus please remember to have
your ticket, RED ticket or correct fare ready. Fares are
calculated on the number of zones travelled on
your journey.
• Child fares apply to passengers aged 5 -14 years of
age (inclusive). Proof of age may be required in
some instances.
• Lost property can be claimed by contacting our
office during office hours. No responsibility is taken
for lost property.
• Some school students are eligible for free school
transport. School bus pass forms can be obtained
at your school or from our office.
• Our timetables are constantly being reviewed and
improved. Advertised times are therefore subject
to change without notice.
• Digital CCTV cameras are on board our Surfside
vehicles to help prevent crime, vandalism &
anti-social behaviour. CCTV detects those
responsible & increases customer
and employee safety & security.
