Renowned real estate family opens local office
The Tierney name is renowned for real estate across Sunraysia, with three
generations having made a huge impact on the local industry.
Frank Jnr has since been
involved in real estate both
nationally and internationally,
and is currently based in
Melbourne where he works
as Director of Tierney Property
Group, which provides property
services across Australia and
Papua New Guinea.
Martin Tierney
Martin Tierney, a community
minded, family orientated man
spent much of his working
life as a real estate agent on
Eighth Street working for the firm
William Davis.
As a natural progression Frank
Tierney Senior followed in his
father’s footsteps, working
initially as a paper boy before
finding work at Henshall and
Osmond. Following a six year
stint in the Australian Imperial
Forces, Frank Snr returned to the
firm and became a licenced
real estate agent.
He paved his way to a very
successful career in real estate
as one half of Collie and Tierney,
one of the biggest rural real
estate businesses in country
Victoria.
Frank Junior had real estate in
his genes and began his career
as an office boy at WH Lehman
Stock and Station agent in
Mildura. He then moved into real
estate sales in 1972 after retiring
from the Australian Armed
Forces, taking over Collie and
Tierney along with George Collie
Junior.
The Tierney Property Group
is now embarking on a new
and exciting venture, with the
opening of Tierney Real Estate in
Mildura.

continuation of an amazing

community with a highly
