Established In 1979,
Al Baath University was established with 2
preexisting colleges and 1 institutes:
•The higher institute for chemical & petroleum
engineering in Homs City.
•Faculty of science in Homs City.
•Faculty of veterinarian medicine in Hama City.
Now 2011….
Al Baath University has.....
•25 faculties & five intermediate institutes.
•50000 regular students &
•23000 students in the Open Learning Center.
•700 staff members teaching and working on
their academic research.
• 600 Teaching Assistant at the University
•4200 employees in all laboratories, offices and
other administrative facilities.
