This concept, which has come to be more prevalent today in such a noisy world, tethers us and allows us to be true to our roots. Just like the Latin used in the title, from which the origins and ‘roots’ of our modern language come, the exhibition images allow the viewer to hold true to themselves. Viewers can take the images at face value, or they can choose to tackle the fundamental questions of the human condition: Light versus dark? Home or away? Good versus bad? But only through a prism of being “always true” to themselves, and their personal experiences. What might you see, if you look a little longer?
