The working and living units which are situated in the
Schiecentrale phase 4b have unique harmonica folding
walls, specially designed for this project. The doors of
the folding walls (2 or 4 door wings) have the dimensions of 720 by 3000 mm and move outwards. The working
and living units have an optimal connection with the
outside world and a fantastic view on the westerly port
area.
To create a calm façade, the sight width of the styles
is heterogeneous and the blank anodized profiles are
provided with gray colored rubbers.

The system meets the technical wind- and water proofing (600 pascal). It also takes care of a good sound seal
and has a hidden water management system. For this
system 25 new aluminium profiles are developed.
