from the Organising Chairman
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
On behalf of the Scientific and Organising Committee, I take great pleasure in inviting you to the 9th Kuala Lumpur
Mental Health Conference 2014 which will be held at the PWTC, Kuala Lumpur from the 26th-27th August 2014.
A pre-conference workshop will be held on the 25th of August 2014 at the same venue.
Once again, we are proud to host this conference with this year’s theme “Diversity of minds, Unity in care”.
For this conference, we have been privileged to have highly respected speakers both locally and internationally
renowned leaders in their respective fields to share their knowledge and experience as well as to provide you
with ‘food for thoughts’ for the benefit of all as to how we as health workers can best deliver quality service, advice and care to patients.
The important contributions of the various subspecialty disciplines in psychiatry includes, child psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry,
community psychiatry, liaison, neuropsychiatry and addiction psychiatry will be highlighted in line with the holistic approach of
this congress.
2014 has been officially declared as the Visit Malaysia Year. We warmly welcome you to our city of Kuala Lumpur to enjoy and explore
