The president and founder of All
Hands Fire Equipment has been
a firefighter for over 20 years.
During the late 1980’s and
into 2000, he had served in
many different capacities
for a variety of different
agencies in central New
Jersey. He has been a
fire officer, fire chief, training
officer, fire inspector, fire
coordinator, fire investigator
and a deputy forest fire warden.
Today, he continues to serve
as a fire captain with an urban fire
department in central NJ.
In January 2001, All Hands Fire Equipment was officially created.
Initially, it started out as a hobby, with the owner operating from a small
desk, a file cabinet and a computer inside a small room in his home. The
intention was to specialize in carrying products used (but hard to find)
by the New York City Fire Department (FDNY). The name “All Hands” is
taken from the common phrase “All Hands going to work”, used daily
by the FDNY and other departments across the country.
As the website grew and word of mouth spread, so did the popularity
of the products that we carried. Our personalized and convenient
customer service had the old “mom & pop” family-run feel, which
we found to be very accepting by our customers. Keeping true to
our roots and with the help of numerous retired and active members
of FDNY and other departments, we continued to grow and expand
our product lines – bringing to our customers the best products that
the industry has to offer.

The Wellston Fire Department
recently purchased halligan bars
and K12 saws, but we couldn’t find
any good 3-4 foot hooks. There was always
a closet hook or a 4’ pike pole, but that just didn’t maximize the
space in our compartments. So, with a little bit of brainstorming,
and the help of All Hands Fire Equipment, the members of the
Wellston Fire Department designed this tool. The tool, now known
as the “Wellston Hook,” consists of a drywall hook on one end and
a roof hook on the other. The total length is 40 inches, which is
actually less than our original design
of 48 inches. It is the perfect
length for many tasks, easy
to carry, easy to mount, and
takes up less room than a
normal closet hook. It is by
far the most versatile tool
we’ve used. None of us, or
the guys at All Hands, have
seen a tool like this. As far
as we know, it is the only one
of it’s kind!

operations for a standardized way to
indicate that primary, secondary, and
final search procedures have been
carried out and/or still need to be
carried out.
The PSF tags are a practical solution
to this problem. The PSF tags are
a visible, tactile device. Ultimately,
the PSF tags save time by preventing
duplication of effort. This system
provides more orderly and accurate
accountability during searches.
DEMOTO BROTHERS, INC. was cofounded by Tim Dennis and Andy
Yamamoto, both full time firefighters
for a city department in Los Angeles,
California. Tim recognized that
there was a better way for Andy
to carry his set of “mini-irons.”
Together, they went through several
prototypes and also discovered it
was faster and more beneficial to
get the other small hand tools out
of their bunker gear pockets.

Adjustable; mic loop; scissor snaps
Their all leather radio strap is 1-1/4”
wide and is made from 10-12 ounce
English bridle leather. The bridle
leather keeps the strap flexible
and firm even in the dampest of
conditions. All stitching is done
using a heavy nylon thread and each

construction, features and material. The only exception is that
there are only two Velcro straps to secure the hose. This pack
holds 100 feet of 1½” or 1¾” hose. Dimensions: 36” long x 8”

Milwaukee Strap Fold Out Hose Pack
This 36” version holds 150 feet of 1½” or 1¾” hose. The Pack
completely unfolds for access and storage. Protective flaps
keep out any water or debris and also allows for outboard
storage. Same materials as the other M/S hose packs.
Dimensions: 36” long x 8” wide x 12” high. Wt. 48 oz.
The Large Diameter Hose Strap assist in getting
large diameter hose off the hose bed for
attachment to a water source safely and allowing
the engine to proceed for fire operations.
Constructed of 3”nylon webbing, with a tensile
strength of 22,550 lbs. and strong stitching with
heavy brass rivets give you long life. A quick
release webbing strap allows for the strap to be
secured to the engine’s top grab bar. This device
allows the firefighter to pull the hose off the rig
and place it over a hydrant with additional hose
secured with the hook & loop strap with plenty
of spare hose for attachment.
