Each Crate has adjustable locators allowing you to add shelves in glass or wood and, being sold as
individual parts, you can add to your dispaly range at any time.
The system can be supplied to you as unfinished - you paint or stain them to suit your needs, or as a
finished product, you can choose from a range of 7 standard Fiddes woodstains. A bespoke wood
colour and paint service is also available

The Old wine crate,or the wooden vegetable tray - Someone realised that if you stacked these rustic crates, it made
a great and inexpensive display.
We agreed, but thought how can we improve on this idea, how can be it made more versatile and of a more durable
quality?
And so....
THE CORNISH CRATE COMPANY was born.
We have re-designed the basic crate idea and given it an up-grade!
Using our Crate System you can design and build your own display,
and what’s really great is that you can just keep on adding to the
display as and when you need to.
All our Crates are designed to work as individual units , or to be
integrated into a whole, larger, display.
From our basic 500 x 500mm unit, right up to our largest 2m x 1m unit.
Shelves are available for all crate sizes and come in slatted wood and
glass.
Colour and finish - from a range of standard stains to bespoke colours.
We can sell you a basic unfinished crate for you to finish and
colour yourself, or we can colour and stain them for you.
Lighting - a range of LED lighting systems to suit all figurations.
Levelling - to solve an uneven floor.
All floor units can be supplied with a matching plinth to create a level
display and/or a matching pelmet if required.

Colouring your Crate display
Light-Fast Water Based Stains
A range of Light-Fast water based stains, formulated to offer
exceptional and uniform depth of colour, for use on interior wood.
Semi matt finish
Colour
We offer a basic range of colour stain
finishes (see above), which are supplied by
Fiddes of Bristol. However, if you wish to have a specific
colour or paint finish, we can accomodate your needs.
You can also purchase our range of boxes as unfinished, and
have the option to stain or paint it yourself.
We manufacture our complete system here in Cornwall
and can offer a bespoke service to meet the needs of our
customers using the highest quality materials, to produce
a quality product which meets all the current health and
saftey guidelines.
Our range can also be manufactured from reclaimed
timber and rustic wood - ask for details.
