Silent auction Wave 1 items are on display and can be bid on from 5-7
p.m. in the Skinner ballroom. Wave 2 items are in the hallway outside the
Altoona Room and can be bid on from 8:00-9:15 p.m.

Whine….oops, we mean “Wine” Wall
For $20, you can purchase a chance to win a case (12 bottles) of wine from
our Wine Wall. Each bottle of wine ranges from $8/bottle to $55/bottle.
Raffle tickets are being sold by ARL volunteers at the Wine Wall, or you
can purchase them at the Registration tables. Tickets are $20 each or 2 for
$35 (10 cases of 12 bottles available). Ten winners will be drawn at the
end of the Silent Auction (7:00 p.m.) and winners will be posted by 7:30
p.m. Winners can pick up their wine at Disbursement (Item Pick-Up).

Lou graciously sets aside time on Friday mornings to have the ARL come
with adoptable pets -- so viewers will be able to see the animals too!

TAX DEDUCTIBILITY
The Animal Rescue League of Iowa is a non-profit organization. While
donations to the League are tax-deductible, purchases of items of value are
not fully tax-deductible. The amount paid for an item over the fair market
value may be considered a tax-deductible contribution. Please retain your
receipts and consult your tax advisor.

SILENT AUCTION
The Silent Auction Wave 1 will begin at 5:00 p.m. and end promptly at
7:00 p.m. No bidding after 7:00 p.m. will be allowed.
Wave 2 will begin at 8:00 p.m. and end promptly at 9:15 p.m. No bidding
after 9:15 p.m. will be allowed.
All bidders will be identified by their bidder number on the Silent
Auction Bid Sheets. Minimum bids have been established for each item.
Incremental bids for all items are a minimum of $10.00, but bidders can
bid more than the suggested increment bid and all bids must be legible.
All bidding must follow these established guidelines, or the bid will be
deemed invalid by the Silent Auction Monitors.
Winners of the items in each of the Silent Auction will be displayed on
posters 30 minutes after the closing of the Silent Auction. Items may be
paid for any time after the Silent Auction has closed and the winners have
been posted.
All bidders of items containing alcohol or gift certificates for alcohol must
be 21 years of age or older.
LIVE AUCTION
The Live Auction begins at 7:00 p.m. and ends when the last item receives
its final bid.
The auctioneer will identify the winning bid number and amount of the
final bid. The clerk will document this information on the final receipt.
PAYMENT AND SALE CONDITIONS
All sales are final. Payment may be made at the Cashiers’ Station with
cash, check, or MasterCard/VISA/American Express/Discover. Receipt of
sale will be given for all purchases.
Receipt of sale must be presented to an Auction Disbursement Assistant
prior to the item being removed from the premises.
To the best of our knowledge, all signatures on autographed items are true
and original.
Book and jewelry display cases, as well as easels, are not included with
items. They are for display purposes only unless otherwise indicated.

The items and gift certificates generously donated to the Animal Rescue
League Auction for the animals, may not be redeemed for cash or returned
to the businesses for cash or exchanged unless otherwise indicated. Thank
you for your cooperation and understanding.

growth of the ARL in our efforts to better the lives and preserve the pure
