With a requirement to service showering equipment every six
months, Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust chose Solo T3
TMV3 bath shower mixers which bring individual checks down to a
five-minute job. Meeting the NHS hygiene regulations, the Solo T3
offers easy access to all serviceable parts at the mixer head.

Bath shower mixers
The Bristan range of bath shower mixers
combines fast bath fill with excellent
shower performance. Many ranges
are thermostatic and lever handles on
some models ensure ease of use. The
Solo T3 provides thermostatic controls
for showering and bath fill and with
TMV3 approval it provides the ultimate
guarantee of safety and comfort.
Thermostatic basin taps
Solo T3
The Solo T3 range of basin mixers
represents the best in functionality,
safety and quality. Fully thermostatic,
with TMV3 approval and HTM64 Type TP6
compliant, they are the ideal solution for
all commercial applications including
healthcare. Compatible with all plumbing
systems, all serviceable parts are
accessible from above the basin, making
them easy to maintain with minimal
down time.
HTM64 mixers
Ideal for use in surgical or medical
handwashing environments, Gummers
HTM64 taps are TMV3 approved and
comply with the latest NHS guidelines,
including both mechanical and
dimensional requirements of the Health
Technical Memorandum 64 – Sanitary
Assemblies. All products in the range
feature a safe touch surface to prevent
accidental burns and a unique integral
pasteurising system which requires no
additional hose therefore minimising the
risk of infection. The single sequential
lever is designed to be elbow operated
for maximum hygiene.
Timed flow controls
Designed to conserve water and energy,
timed flow control taps are easy to
operate even by users with reduced
mobility and can be fitted with a Gummers
thermostatic mixing valve for assured
temperature control.

Installing the H64
Flushing Kit
The Flushing Kit allows systems to be flushed
through without the risk of debris blocking the filters
within the tap, which would then require the tap to be
removed
Kits Consists of:
2 x Flushing body assembly
2 x Nut covers
2 x O-rings
1 x Installation leaflet
O-rings
Please Note
Flushing body
assembly
During this process, take care not to scratch the
chrome elbows on the mixer tap. Once nut covers are
unscrewed, the tap can be removed from the wall

With H64WMT mixer on the wall,
unscrew the chrome covers and
pull away from wall

Remove the H64WMT mixer from the
wall ready for flushing kit to be installed

Flush until water is clean. Once flushing is complete
re-isolate, re-attach the H64WMT mixer and check for
leaks before undoing isolation spindles

Using a 2.5mm Allen key, insert into
isolation spindle and screw clockwise
until spindle hits the bottom

Insert body assembly into both tail
housings on wall and tightly screw on
swivel nuts so seal is made

Using a 42mm A/F spanner, unscrew nut
covers and carefully slide along elbow.
Repeat on second flushing body
6
Insert copper pipe/plastic tubing (not
supplied). Flush out can now be done
by unscrewing spindle seen in diagram 2
