Welding seams show the technical competence and sophistication of the bike. Those of the Strada
900 are smoothed in an elaborate process: in a second welding process. the first seam is covered
with additional welding material. The seams are not cut or grounded, but are cosmetically smoothed.
This is the fine art of frame construction.
Functional Aesthetics
This season most bicycles feature internally routed cables. This improves the
function, makes for a cleaner silhouette, and adds to the elegance of the bike.
Most importantly, the shift cables disappear into a slot in the forged bottom
bracket socket.

Our modern trekking bicycles have what it takes. They feature exceptionally bright
and safe lights from Bumm, powerful Magura brake systems, smooth running

Balance of power
Strong Performance, Strong Acceleration
The bottom bracket of the Sovereign features an eccentric to accommodate to different chain wears, which is especially useful for the hub gears variant. A side-effect is
the outstanding stiffness of the frame. Its legendary workmanship will impress even
after several years of use and a durable eloxal coating protects the frame finish.
The 14-speed Rohloff Speedhub offers a huge range of gear ratios (526 %), with very fine gaps of
13.6 % between individual gears. Because of its already legendary reliability and its great workmanship, the Speedhub is considered a gem among internal gear hubs. Both the Sovereign Lite and
the Sovereign Shox come with Rohloff Speedhubs.
