Departure is dependent on numbers registered at each Park District. Every effort is made to leave for the trip from Park Place. Transportation may be in a Park District van/bus or motor coach. Motor coach trips are noted in the brochure. If we have not met our registration minimum by the deadline date (if one is listed), then the trip will be canceled and a full refund will be issued. All payments are required in full at time of registration. Refunds are only given under the following conditions: -Trip is canceled by the Crystal Lake Park District -Person asking for a refund finds a replacement for the trip -Park District has a waiting list and is able to sell your ticket *If a trip is full at time of registration, do not be concerned to get on the waitlist. Some trips may be able to add another bus/van if enough people are on the waitlist. If we are unable to accommodate you, a full refund will be issued. The museum is dedicated to preserving the memories of those lost in the Holocaust as well as teaching current generations about the need to fight hatred, indifference and genocide in today’s world. Lunch is your choice of Hot Corned Beef Sandwich or Turkey Sandwich with French Fries, Cole slaw, pickle and drink included. Transportation by Park District bus. Conrad receives a draft notice for the military. His manager held a publicity stunt for Conrad to kiss one lucky fan on the Ed Sullivan Show before he leaves. Don’t miss out on this great musical! Code 4937-2 Thursday Feb 25 9:30AM-5PM Milwaukee Art Museum and Lakefront Brewery in Milwaukee, WI Program Fee:$70 Resident Discount Fee: $65 The museum collects and preserves art from its roots in Milwaukee’s first art gallery in 1888 and has grown to be an icon for resources for the entire state! Four floors of over forty galleries of art displayed from antiquity to the present. Included in the collection are 15th to 20th century European and 17th-20th century American paintings, sculpture, prints, drawings, decorative arts, photographs, and folk an self-taught art. This museum holds the largest collections of works by Wisconsin native Georgia O’Keeffe. Following the museum, a visit to the Lakefront Brewery for lunch and a beer tasting and tour and bring home a souvenir pint glass. Tour includes museum, lunch and transportation by park district bus. Enjoy a 1 1/2hr presentation of fully staged scenes from this well-known musical. A demonstration of the operation of the puppets and tour of the highly technical backstage will follow the performance. We will stop for lunch (on your own) at a nearby restaurant. Next stop is at Old Town Oil to sample imported 100% Extra Virgin Olive Oil and aged balsamic vinegar from all over the world. Our journey then takes you to the Spice House featuring ethnic Chicago neighborhood seasonings while the owners share their expertise of world travel with the group. Lunch will be at the Celtic Knot Public House with your choice of Corned Beef and Cabbage, Irish BLT or Public House Salad. CODE 4937-0 Tue Apr 19 8AM-5PM Black Point Mansion and Geneva Bay Tour in Lake Geneva, WI Program Fee:$50 Resident Discount Fee: $45 Black Point Mansion was built in 1888 as a summer home to the Seipp Family and still remains in the family. Conrad Seipp, a German immigrant became the largest brewer in Chicago. The mansion exhibits the finest examples of Queen Anne architecture and has one of the most intact collections of Victorian furnishings in the Midwest. You will have time to shop and have lunch on your own in Lake Geneva. Following lunch and shop, we will enjoy a 1-hour boat tour of Geneva Bay.
