This is a so sweet accommodation!
First of all I want to introduce you the reason of this strange name.
It is due to the owner's dools hanged on the ceilings and on the stairs. They are so important for her as they have been
following her from her birth... I found it so nice and sweet that we together decided that that was the right name for her
place.
Description.
This is a typical old Town house on three floors, recently restored buy a famous local architect.
On the ground floor you find entrance, living room and a half-bathroom (no shower). Upstairs - on the first floor you find
a large bright and modern fully equipped kitchen. Form here, again upstairs - on the second floor you find the bedroom air conditioned - and the bathroom with shower enclosure.
The house is provided with all modern comfort. Air Conditioning, Wifi, Dishwasher, Washing machine, Microwave.
Location.
It is located in one of internal courtyard of Sant Anna.
You are few steps from Porta San Donato. You can easily walk to the historic centre as well as to the "center" of Sant
Anna where you find cafes for breakfast, groceries, the best hand-made pasta store of Lucca. This is a very local area, not
turistic where you can really meet locals and learn our culture and lives. It is outside the city's walls but it is not a like a
big city's suburban and modern area. In fact the house is located like in square where some other building overlooks. you
have an external area where you can sit to have something to drink and to eat or to read.. but this is not a private garden. it
is an open space. Here in this courtyard the owner and the owner's family live... this a very local type of property. .. like
they lived in the past. Nowadays these places are becoming very trendy. Usually the exteriors stay old but the interiors of
these town houses are often designed by famous architect.
This location is perfect for those have a car as here you can park for free just in front of your front door. It is also perfect
for those are joining courses and italian language classes at Lucca Italian School.
