Goonies Day events are a joint effort of the
Astoria-Warrenton Chamber of Commerce and the
Oregon Film Museum. We wish to thank those businesses who give sponsorship support, participate as a
treasure hunt location, or are hosting an activity.
We also appreciate all of the fans from near and
far that come out to celebrate our community with us.

Inside this handout you will find a list of twenty-six Goonies-loving businesses and organizations in
Astoria and Warrenton. Visit them to get their location’s stamp, then return to the Visitor Center where
you will redeem each stamp for an entry in our prize
drawings. No purchase is necessary at any location,
but always appreciated.
This activity is organized by the Astoria-Warrenton Chamber of Commerce and made possible by the
participating businesses.

Redeem your stamps at the Chamber’s Visitor
Center at 111 W. Marine Drive, Astoria. The first 400
people with a completed treasure hunt will receive a
limited edition 2014 Goonies Day button. Hunters will
receive a raffle ticket for every location visited, whether you’ve completed all 26 stamps or not. We encourage groups to share this handout to save resources and
we will redeem entries/buttons for all group members.
Prizes are donated by hunt locations and listed
with their entry on the treasure hunt. Prize drawings
will occur at 2pm on Sunday. Additional raffle tickets
may be purchased at the Visitor Center for $2 each.
Winners will be contacted by phone. Need not be
present to win and prizes will be available for pick up at
the Visitor Center after 2pm.
One winner will be chosen from all entries to
win the following grand prize package: (value approx.
$700) Gift certificates for: 2-night stay in KOA Small
Deluxe Cabin during Goonies 30th Anniversary; One
Zip Line Tour at High Life Adventures; $75 Bridgewater
Bistro; $40 Fort George Brewery; $18 Bowpicker Fish
and Chips and 2 tickets to all 3 of the Clatsop County
Historical Society Museums.
Be on the lookout for instant treasure while
you complete the hunt as many locations are offering
a special deal, discount or activity for treasure seekers
during this event. These special offerings are listed
with the * icon and are available while supplies last.

Basin at 37th & Hwy 30.

• Treasure Hunt - Visit local businesses to earn entries into
the prize drawings. Details inside.
• Oregon Film Museum - Housed in old Clatsop County Jail,
the scene of the jailbreak in The Goonies. Explore this
and other films and the production behind making movies in Oregon. The replica “Fratelli Jeep” will be parked
on-site all weekend.
Open 10am to 5pm; Admission: $6-Adults, $2-Kids
• Riverfront Trolley - Ride the trolley to learn more about
Astoria past and present. $1/ride. Route: Basin to 39th
Operates daily from Noon to 6pm (weather permitting.)
• Tenor Guitar Gathering - Multiple Locations. View the

• Trivia Night at the Baked Alaska Lounge, 7pm. Trivia will
be themed for the occassion. $2 per person, per game.
• 80s Themed Cosmic Bowling at Lower Columbia Bowl aka
“Chunk’s Bowling Alley” 9:30pm to Midnight.
$12/per person inc. shoes Open to the public for games
all day or stop by to sign their Goonies guest book.
• The Goonies w/Fort George Brewery Release Party,
10:30pm, 21+ event. This year’s 3-way IPA was brewed
in collaboration with Block 15 and Boneyard. Enjoy the
premiere screening of documentary about the Fort
George Whistle and Goonies-themed giveaways. At the
Columbian Theater, $4 ticket, cash only
Saturday, June 7:
• Tour the Goonies House - This private residence is open
to visitors only with timed-entry tickets, tours begin
at 9:30am and the last one is at 2:30pm. $15/person

• Truffle Shuffle at Warren Field, 5pm. Help us set a record
for a group Truffle Shuffle in Astoria at this film location.
Warren Field is on Exchange between 18th and 20th.
• The Goonies Quote-A-Long showing, 7pm, Columbian
Theater. Relive The Goonies on the big screen and yell
out your favorite lines with hundreds of other fans.
Costumes encouraged. $4 ticket, cash only

• Behind the Scenes of Ecola State Park 1pm at Cannon
Beach History Center Park Ranger Patrick Lines will share
stories of his time at Ecola State Park during the filming
of The Goonies.
History Center is open 11am-5pm, Free admission.
• The Goonies matinee showing 3pm at Columbian Theater
Relive The Goonies on the big screen at this final showing
of the weekend. $4 ticket, cash only
