Construction of a new year-round event center is underway, and when completed, will provide energy-efficient, modern facilities for ski services; banquet, meeting and conference space; winter & summer equipment
rentals; a snow sports school; food and beverage
venues; and, additional recreation activities. Located at
the base of the alpine mountain adjacent to The Lodge,
the event center will be 34,500 of new construction and
10,000 square feet of remodeling and site work.
Winter Adventure
Giants Ridge has plenty to do in the winter, too. Alpine
and cross country skiing, snowboarding, fat biking,
snow tubing, and snowshoeing make the Ridge the ultimate winter recreation destination.

100-mile bicycle trail. This beautiful trail runs amidst awesome open pit mines
and picturesque communities in northeast Minnesota – and right past Giants
Ridge. Named the “Best Trail in Rural Minnesota” by Minneapolis Star Tribune
in 2013.
Giants Ridge is also 10 minutes from Minnesota’s premier off-highway vehicle recreation area. Located just east of Gilbert, the Iron Range Off-Highway
Vehicle (OHV) State Recreation Area contains 4,000+ acres and 36 miles of
rugged terrain and trails.
