Welcome to the 20th Annual Tools of the Trade Bull and Select Female
Sale! It is an absolute honour to present the best, most uniform, quality set
of bulls we have ever raised. I know, a bold statement. But a true one. We
could simply not be more pleased with our offering and we certainly hope
you share our enthusiasm for it! The red and black bulls are right for the
times – stout, hairy, easy doing with maternal strength built in.There are
bulls that will add pounds while maintaining calving ease and bulls that will
help ensure heifers calve easily to produce a thriving, useful calf. If you are
in this for the long haul, these bulls will also produce daughters that will
become reliable, top producers.
The heifer offering is again a special one. Not a single one of these heifers
could not be kept in our own herd. We are proud of our cow herd and very
pleased to offer some of their daughters to you.

must be insured by the new owners.
DELIVERY...
Wilbar Cattle Co. will deliver bulls to Central points in Western Canada
and will assist with trucking to Eastern Canada and USA. All bulls will
be delivered by May 1st.

If you are unable to attend the sale but have previously selected the

2015 marks the 20th Anniversary of the Tools of the Trade Bull Sale! Another feat accomplished for the Willms family, a highly successful
seedstock Red and Black Angus seedstock operation. This multi generational family has roots that are deeply planted and with another
generation up and coming, there is no change in sight for this hardworking crew in which all hands are on deck performing the daily tasks.
Their passion is fueled by their respect for the Angus breed and what it has provided for them over the decades and in turn has provided their
loyal following commercial customer base in their success. An earnest effort in researching herdbulls to provide accountable genetics for their
customers is at the forefront of each and every breeding decision. In accordance to breeding Angus cattle that perform in the trenches the
Wilbar prefix has enjoyed many successes over the years in exhibiting their cattle across Western Canada. This past fall this tradition continued
with Wilbar Farms claiming Reserve Champion in both the Black and Red Angus show at Farmfair in Edmonton as well being awarded Reserve Champion Black
Angus bull at Agribition. What is most evident is the breeding plan and program that is evident in the pedigrees and the uniformity in the cattle. If you haven’t had

Wilbar Snake Eyes 508B has been a standout since he was about 2 weeks old. He exhibits a
great deal of herd bull presence and style. The amount of muscle, hip and top this bull carries
ranks him as one of the top bulls in the sale. He does all this with a modest birth weight and
perfect feet. 508B was Reserve Intermediate Bull Calf Champion at Agribition alongside
his maternal brother Wilbar Capacity 99Z, who was Reserve National Champion Bull. This
impressive feat was produced by a Wilbar Georgina cow family member. The Georginas are
responsible for producing the $31,000 Wilbar Tigershark 420Y at Neilson Land and Cattle,

The Unforgiven progeny have always excelled in our herd whether on the cow or on feed. This

our most popular bull calf in and out of the stall at Agribition. He was a class winner and more

In our search for some new genetics we came across a unique pedigreed bull
named Off Topic. He is sired by a descendent of the Legendary black bull EXT
who happened to be a Agribition and Denver Champion and out of a beautiful
black cow stemming back to the likes of Northern Improvement, TC Stockman
365, and DMM Flex 24E. These are just some of the outcross black sires in
his pedigree. The biggest selling feature for us was the cow family he was out
of. The maternal grand dam, Red Jewel Miss Pathy 62A was one of the most
picture perfect cows we had ever seen and when we got the opportunity to
own a grandson we couldn’t resist. Off Topic’s first daughter to sell was the
$7000 high selling red heifer calf at the 2014 Touch of Class Sale, selling to

CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION...
Each animal will carry papers issued by the Canadian Angus
Association. A certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished
to the buyer for each animal after payment has been made.
HEALTH...
All animals in the sale have met all necessary health requirements.
GUARANTEE...
Each animal becomes the purchaser’s risk immediately after the
animal is sold. All animals in this sale will be sold under the terms and
guarantees set forth by the Canadian Angus Association with regard to
health, freedom from defects and from both reproductive and specific
genetic unsoundness.

All persons attend the sale at their own risk. The sellers, facility owner,
