2015 IMPACT REPORT
2015 Highlights and Milestones
FOUNDATION
$3.4 Million in cash and pledges raised during Phase I of Empowering
Tomorrow Capital Campaign
$1.1 Million in cash and pledges raised during Annual Fund Drive
Over $250,000 in donated services, equipment and supplies provided to
various college programs through the Foundation’s Gifts-In-Kind program
400+ scholarship awards provided to students in curriculum and CCD classes
for the Fall 2015-Spring 2016 academic year
Workforce Development Salute sets records for attendance and money raised.
More than 800 seats sold and more than $90,000 raised for scholarships,
equipment and other critical needs
ACADEMIC
Ground broken on the new Center for Manufacturing Innovation (CMI),
adjacent to CU-ICAR
More than 12,500 students entering the 2014-15 academic year
42% male and 58% female; 38% full-time and 62% part-time; average age
26 years old
Program offerings include 67 certificate programs, 6 diplomas and
36 associate degrees
Student Success Center opened as a source of campus resources and to
maximize students’ knowledge of services available to them
Community involvement including Meals On Wheels, River Sweep, Salvation
Army, Harvest Hope Food Bank, Gardening for Good and Habitat for Humanity
