2016 Butterfly Pupae Supplies
We have pleasure in sending you our 2016 Euro pupae price list and order forms.
After 25 years of dedicated service to Stratford Butterfly Farm, John Calvert has decided
to settle down and focus on his family in Thailand. Therefore please direct any correspondence
directly to ourselves at [email protected]
We have been working hard over the last year to secure more stable and sustainable
supplies of pupae and to increase the range we have to offer, this should become evident
by the start of the main season. In particular our Malay/Thai mix will have a larger number
of species available. We spent a lot of time last year with the Belize government to improve
the quality of our Morphos and Caligos and we believe these to now be the best available
anywhere. Currently we are working hard with our African suppliers to produce higher quality
pupae and this will become evident in 2016. We are also focusing more on in house breeding
of Heliconids to reduce the handling of these sensitive pupae.
For our Euro customers we have reluctantly had to implement a small price increase.
This is due to the unfavourable exchange rate between the Euro and the British Pound Sterling.
From this year our shipping costs will be charged closer to the actual cost per shipment as
charged to ourselves. Due to changes in legislation and costs attributed we feel this is the fairest
way while still maintaining a fast effective service.

All prices are in € Euros.
Stratford-upon-Avon Butterfly Farm Ltd. reserves the right to change any or all stated
prices as a result of currency fluctuations.
All prices exclude VAT.
VAT is charged at standard rate to all UK customers and to EU costumers unless we
have your VAT registration number.
Pupae
Availability cannot be guaranteed for any given species at any given time.
Should we be unable to deliver a particular species we will include a suitable
substitute unless otherwise directed.
All pupae are quality checked during packing and despatched in A1 condition.
Any claims for losses or damage in transit must be sent within 24 hours of arrival.
After this time no claims will be permitted.
The minimum number of pupae per shipment is 50. Any orders under this will be subject
