Wabasha was commissioned a
General in the British Army
during the American Resolution.
The Whitecap Indian Reserve No.
94 was set aside by Privy Council
Order P.C. 1151 dated May 17, 1889.
When created in 1889, the
reserve contained 1,472 acres.
Today, the reserve contains
approximately 4,700 acres.
