located on Hwy 288, only 44 miles from Houston,
and 18 miles from the Gulf of Mexico, Angleton
truly is in “the heart of the fun.” Great parks,

sites and nearby museums that showcase the

Largest County Fair in Texas.
Our Fair is a 9-day annual event
that takes place in October of
every year. It is known for its oldfashioned fair atmosphere and
traditional fair entertainment such
as carnival rides, rodeo, concerts,
concessions and livestock/
agriculture displays. The fair takes place in a 120-acre
fairground covered with permanent buildings attracting
about a quarter of a million people.
