Official Tests, Junior Driver prize
The Junior driver obtaining the best time during the official tests at Imola will
win a seat an the 24-hour Karting race at Pomposa (10-11 October 2015), in
which the Porsche Driving Experience team will be officially entered.

Identify not only the best Junior drivers, but also a «Porsche Ambassador» to
be introduced professionally into the Porsche family, preparing and training
him and turning him into a talented testimonial;

Carrera Cup Italia, supporting them with a program of systematic and
continual coaching;

Create a close-knit team in line with the values of the Brand, who communicate
positive values off the track as well!

Contents, conditions and benefits
•
The technical partners of the program include: Driver Program Center
(centre specialising in physical and mental training of drivers and
professional athletes in general), Sparco and Adidas
•
Each driver admitted to the program will receive free of charge: complete
Sparco technical outfit and Adidas sports clothes to be used for the
training sessions
•
The program is limited to 6 participants, who must be registered on the
Overall Ranking.

And the winner is….
The driver taking the Scholarship program who, within the deadline decided by
Porsche Motorsport, has proved the most worthy and the closest to the Brand
Ambassador profile, will be nominated by Porsche Italia for the International
Cup Scholarship Shoot-Out, an international selection of the best Under 26
drivers in the world who have distinguished themselves in the various national
Carrera Cups.
The winner will receive a budget of € 200,000 and an entrance ticket in the
Porsche Mobil1 Supercup as the official Porsche Junior driver. This is the first
step towards a professional career.

Allowed cars: 911 GT3 Cup (991) MY13/14/15
(MY13 and MY14 cars must be in MY15 configuration)
Minimum weight: 1,212* Kg (with no fuel and ballast plate)
Driver weight: 85 Kg (+ ballast, if needed)
Total weight: 1,297 Kg
Use of radio between box and car is allowed (no data transmission)
Noise level: pre-silencers must be present (usually only central silencer)

COSWORTH data acquisition system
• Use of the Cosworth data acquisition system as supplied on the car is
compulsory. The system is associated with the chassis number and must
not be replaced.
• All data on the free practices, qualifying and races must be made available
to the Technical Marshals or their representatives.
• Installation of the steering angle sensor and brake pressure sensor and
expansion of the 128 MB memory are permitted. All components used must
be Cosworth original parts.
• Additional electrical connections to the wiring are prohibited.

Video acquisition system
COSWORTH Alive Drive-S
• Mounting and use of the system as required by the race regulations is
compulsory.
• The video system has data overlay
• Alive Drive-S is the only video system which will be used by the Race
Management in assessment of accidents.
• The price for new kits is unchanged.
NB: several features of the video cameras installed on MY14 cars will be replaced and
tested during the Misano test by COSWORTH personnel present on site.

Radio communications
• Voice communications between the box and the
car are permitted.
• The voice radio system must be installed in
accordance with the 991 Cup MY 2015 Technical
Manual
• Choice of the radio device to the driver is free, but
must be approved by the race officials.
Loudspeakers inside the helmet must be installed
in accordance with the corresponding FIA
regulations.
• Radio frequency operating licences are the
responsibility of each individual team.
