The year 2020 is just five years away, and if we
envision what a pizzeria is going to look like then
based on the amount of change that we’ve seen
over the past half-dozen years, it’s going to be a
brave new pizzeria. There will be technological and
digital innovations boosting revenue and lowering
costs, as well as altering the way a pizzeria
looks and operates. Sponsors will be able to
demonstrate, for example, faster service with digital
ordering systems; more efficient kitchens and
make-lines; real-time customer relationship building
and marketing via handheld devices; and enhanced
visuals and touch-points for customers. This
sponsorship is a no-brainer for the exhibitor looking
to show how your cutting-edge product or service
can be used in our simulated Pizzeria 2020. The
area will be organized as a hands-on experience for
buyers. Sponsorship signage will include a hanging
sign over the area, floor and area signage, as well

Sponsoring company's logo will be incorporated
into the sponsored day’s daily seminar signage and
schedules, as well as exhibit hall signage on days
the hall is open.
Each seminar will have an entrance sign with
seminar details plus a sponsor logo and sponsor recognition sign on the stage / riser in front
of room. Sponsoring company will be allowed
to distribute literature, product sample, offer ad specialty item or contest card, and/or promote booth
location in a designated area located just inside the
show entrance. (Note: The distribution of bags is
not permitted.) Exhibit hall signage will also include
four 4 x 8-foot, 4-color signs that will be located
outside the show entrance and inside the hall in
high-traffic areas. Your sponsorship package will
also include an entrance decal with sponsor logo,
a registration handout and a logo ad in the “Official
Show Addendum.”

have prominent exposure in high traffic areas and

World Champion Pizza Maker of
the Year Competition

One of your products will be designated the
“secret ingredient” to be used in determining
the “World Champion” Pizza Maker of the Year.
Sponsoring company name and/or logo will be
incorporated into two of the four kick panels of the
modular competition units, as well as promotional
signage in the event area. The secret ingredient will
also be mentioned in post-show editorial and/or
advertisements.
Pizza Expo Mobile App

The Official Pizza Expo mobile app puts the entire show in the hands of our attendees. Sponsoring
company logo will have prominent exposure on the
opening pages of our Pizza Expo app, as well as on

International Pizza Expo has had nine consecutive
sold-out show floors and remains unchallenged as
the industry’s premier event.
Estimated at $43 billion in annual sales and still
growing, the pizza restaurant industry continues to
be one of the healthiest and most vibrant segments
in foodservice.
A 2012 Technomic survey reports that 41 percent
of consumers it polled now eat pizza once a week,
compared to 26 percent two years previously.
The Top 50 pizza companies control nearly
38,000 units with annual revenue exceeding $22 billion.
Companies 51-100 control an additional 2,500 units,
generating approximately $1.5 billion in annual sales.
Selling ingredients, equipment and services
to the largest companies requires one style of
salesmanship; selling to the rest of the industry—
representing an estimated $15 billion or more in
annual revenue—relies heavily on building contacts
at Pizza Expo.
Reaching key executives at chains as well
as profitable independent operators—the two
groups highly represented by attendees—is critical
to the success of any pizza-related business in
search of buyers.
Our research has shown that 74 percent
of all operators have dining rooms, 94 percent serve
appetizers, 56 percent serve pasta meals and salads,
48 percent sell beer and 38 percent serve wine.
